I went to my parents house last night.
There were 7 exiled Tibetan Monks
praying in their living room. It was
quite an experience.
One of the older monks was the 2nd
incarnation of a high shamen. They
blessed the home and it's inhabinents through chanting and singing.
Their temple was torn down by the
Chinese government so they are here
in America raising funds...

Ain't it hard?
when you go out to have yourself a blowout,
and everybody's being cool.
Ain't it hard?
when you find out your mother was a dropout,
and she doesn't know the golden rule.

When you wake up in the morning
with your eyes on fire
and you go to bed at night wondering
who you are.

Ain't it hard?
when you find out...

Hi,

Thats for the tips! I'll look for them on a peer-to-peer later... and then be a good boy and buy the ones I like from a record shop smile

Amen to the Prunes. Great fucking work. We need more song lyrics in journals on this site. Most of the music geeks on this site probably have some strain of ADD, so it might get a little difficult.

Why doesn't Bill Murray have his own cereal?

I picked up MTV music generator for my computer today. I'm excited to use it because it's really simple and you can make some really good ambient-electronica on it. I've waiting for someone to trade it in at work and it finally came.
I also picked up some Amon Duul II for any of you who dig great trippy space rock. Check it out.

My...

lol, drugs have been helping drooling hippies get laid for 30 years.

I have an MC 505 and haven't touched it in like a year!
wigglefree:
you said it man, you should try having the opposite problem- burrnign every bridge you come accross. (let's just say it's probably better for your opinion of me that you haven't come accross my posts on the boards recently.)

I have to go get my tax forms so I can get some money back, but I don't want to leave my apartment. It's really dark in here because I had to nail some blankets against the windows to keep the cold air out. I know, I know. Why not just use plastic? I don't want to have to spend any money I don't have...

Shane MacGowan is fucking amazing and it is a shame that he is drinking so much.
so, i was looking on the net last night and i could not find any U.S. tour dates. what the fuck?

O.k.
Am I alone in the feeling of confusion at the fact that the whole nation is freaking out over a woman's breast? I mean, come on! It's a tit for fuck's sake!

Not only that, but the fact that CBS would not air an Anti-Bush commercial from moveon.org, but knew ahead of time and was ok with the Janet Jackson stunt is really pathetic....

Type in "Super Bowl Halftime" on Kazaa. That's how I found it. Once I saw it, I deleted it. No big deal.
dayglow:
Yeah, who cares about Janet's boob anyway? Dont we have a president to elect or something like that.
And I have been drinking warm tea every night, I hope its doing something for me.

I think the best part about the super bowl is the thought of all the legs that will be broken by people who lost bets and can't pay up. smile

LOL, that makes 2 very astute observations you've made today.

RE: Pollock,

You hit it dead on the nose, they sucked all the meaning out of the film by not giving the viewer any prospective, but left all the good acting in.

I have to just learn to give up on shitty movies early on. I always hold out hope that they will turn around.

Gosh...
the weather has been so cold these days.
It makes going somewhere and having a
few drinks all the more enjoyable. I like
cocktails in the winter and beers in the
summer. However there is no rule to
that. I like it all.

I made fresh oj this morn and wrapped
some eggs, homefries, veggies and
cheese into a tortilla for breakfast. A cup...

Take the wheat from the chaff, my friend. I like the new Darkness CD but not in an ironic way. I would rather have twenty hair metal bands in the top forty than twenty Lil John & The East Side Boys clones. At least you get some kind of THEATER out of a Poison or Skid Row. All of those down south dudes just grunt over the same wack ass zappy-bounce beat for fifty minutes. Oh wait, I forgot the occasional lame ass skit. Gimme some WASP or Motley Crew. Whatever, at least they put something into it.

My life has been hectic, I promise you a couple sessions in the mail soon. Sorry about the delay.

Seems some good cheer is spreading around to all my fellow digital citizens.....about time.....now after reading your post about breakfast--it is time to eat.....and cure the head.....I not sure why anyone really likes the Darkness--maybe I do not get it....but I will stick to old Motorhead for my metal mayham....cheers mate....high fives to you
