Its April Already.
I have to start off by asking forgiveness for taking such an extended break from journaling, not because anyone missed me, but because I benefit from reading someone else's Blog on a daily basis and it would be only fair to express my thoughts, feelings and emotions - opening and sharing a bit of myself as you do with me.

I truly...

As this year commences to land I must say it has been a great experience. Since the beginning of the year I noticed the year was headed to serve as a foundation for many great things for 2007. Our hemisphere has experienced a series of major political changes. The consciousness of the world's inhabitants is more aware of the global disaster we are facing and...

Hola: Just had to up date after a long summer break In this process of growth and human development I am involved in; I find that what stays the same is what I hate the most about myself, about others and about what happens to me. As I reflect on the last events of my life and those that pass by so rapidly - I...

When we celebrate July 4th we may not be aware of details that took place on that historic day. We celebrate the independence and the commencement of an effort to be a sovereign nation, a country of united colonies that would later become the United States. We celebrate the Declaration of Independence which was signed in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776 and not the actual...

Hola: This new SG stuff is like everything new, I just dont like it. It is to much work to get around and to complicated. What was wrong with the one we had? I am so sure that by Christmas I will be happy with the new SG site and have mastered my way around it. But it is amazing on how the comments have...

Just the thought of someone tracking who you call or who calls you should give you a taste of being under military and oppressive rule. Even some dictatorships are better than the repetitive lies, coercion and bigotry we are witnessing in the USA. There are three types of people that have stood out throughout history as bringing about protest and then become nonconformist and dissidents...

MAY 1 - Celebrated all over the world, except for the USA, as the Day of International Solidarity of Workers. Today, the majority of the members in our planet, your brothers and sisters celebrate Labor Day. It is one of the few world holidays where regardless of citizenship, race color and creed all unite in remembrance of the same occasion. Chicago is the site of...

Welcome to Spring Time: I hope the first three months of the year have been great for you. There is a heavy and negative energy going around the planet at a higher level than usual. It is my hope that many of you are not making room for this to settle into your daily lives. This year seems to be trying to balance out things...

I'm probably going to leave a little early to check things out and make sure I can make it through the crowds on my bike. I'm more worried about getting past the cops than the crowds.
My Spanish class is at 1:00 in the afternoon, I'm surprised we don't make a field trip out of it since we will literally be across the street from Grant Park at 6th and Michigan.
I really can't believe people are crying about the anthem sung in Spanish. Spanish is one of the most fun languages to learn and speak.

Good luck tomorrow!

I took my Christmas tree down and the rest of the lights on my windows. I love to put lights up during the season - since it could be seen from far away, I love the effect. The trees from the park across my house are leafless and bare thus the twinkle of the colored lights is seen a couple blocks away. I like that....

There is something to be said about the New Year and Holidays. It just affords humans an opportunity to a new start. It gives us a chance to commence with clarity and enthusiasm. The New Year can really facilitate and create an occasion to forget, forgive and move on. Our greatest enemy at times is guilt; mainly associated with things we have done against ourselves,...
