Well - he can't exactly encourage crime. Do I think he's a good man! I certainly hope so! The Holy Roman Catholic Church is entering a period of transparency. There is lots of Catholic thought out there in culture, in ideas, songs, movies and other things that many people are completely unconscious of. Can he enforce this? I don't think that he has the authority. The Catholic Church exists in modern societies as well as less modern societies. There are a lot of complex issues. But I think it's great that he is saying these things on Youtube. 

I think the Catholic Church can have the potential to be less threatening to those who felt threatened by it - and more clear in it's message in an age of social media.
