I am so tired today.

I think I need a vacation.

Apparently there's an SG burlesque near me soon.

I don't know the first thing about these shows, so I'm sort of ambivalent. Any suggestions?

Has anybody seen The Notebook?

Too bad I'm so blah, or I'd have much more to say.

UPDATE

Apparently, I'm too tired to sleep, but too logi to make sense....

I saw computerized sculpture yesterday.

It was both jarrings and revolutionary at the same time -- that an idea like that could be realized, then converted to ceramic, stone, steel, gold -- you name it.

The art itself was as original -- just in any damn scale you might want it.

At what point does the artifice get lost, when it can be mass produced?...

Sitting here, I'm watching the victims of Katrina, and I'm just fascinated with how (and why) New Orleans will be restored.

At this point, with the city empty, isn't it a good time to ask whetherrestoring New Orleas is a good idea?

I mean, having a city below sea level next to three big bodies of water is sort of scary.

Perhaps spending five billion...

damn.

As I watch the poor of New Orleans fester and starve, I wonder what in the hell the state and federal governments were doing for the past three days.

In nonsense (meaning me), I am doing well.

I'm considering an effect-altered picture of myself for the photo, but I am still toying with it -- mostly because I'm shy when it comes to the...

Yes, my picture is less than original.

But I'm thinking about a replacement.

I have had some extra time these last few days, and little, seemingly, to do with it.

Life is good though.

I hope yours is too.

E.E. Cummings

you asked me to come:it was raining a little,
and the spring;a clumsy brightness of air
wonderfully stumbled above the square,
little amorous-tadpole people wiggled

battered by stuttering pearl,
leaves jiggled
to the jigging fragrance of newness...
