Back in 97, artists Komar and Melamid and composer Dave Soldier, decided to create a song based on the least desired traits in music. They engaged a professional polling company to go to work for them, to go to the public & put together data based on this premise. After rigorous examination of the data, they concluded that the least enjoyed music included cowboy tunes, bagpipes, accordions, opera, rap music, children's voices, tubas, drum machines and advertising jingles. They got to work and this is their lovechild, a hideous musical chimera. I had a listen to it myself, like a temper tantrum on a reality show or car crash on the highway, I couldn't bring myself to walk away until it ended.

This actually reached out and hurt me. Heavy going (and that’s from a guy who really digs the very late late live recordings of John Coltrane). 😬
