So I carry around 8000 songs around with me on my manufacturer non-specific digital music player.
For the past week at work I've just let it shuffle through them all whilst I block out the entire world (because everyone sucks but me and I don't want to hear their jabbering) and come to the conclusion that the music I really love is the stuff I really loved when I was 15-20 years old.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally down with contemporary music (to a certain extent. I think most of it is shit, but I've always felt most widely distributed music is shit. I am down with its existence. I'm also down with old slang, homie), but I'm really stuck on that good old ska and punk rock released between 1994-2000.
I harbour no illusions that this is specific to me, just something I really noticed in the last week.
I'm not stoned, I'm just noticing things.
And I pay for this site, and should probably write shit here.
Shit.

P.S. Pretty sure the recording of the above song happened outside of the aforementioned time frame, but the song was originally released around 1994 so it applies, you nit-picking asshole. By which I mean me. Not you. You're a lovely human being, I'm sure. Or not. I like rambling.

I also have to say that I wish that we'd see you at events and whatnot more often! You're a good guy.
