I had a really shitty afternoon, booo.
but you know what? 30 Rock + poutine + mozza sticks + tumblr + burnsssss is a damn good cheer-up combo.

so I'm feeling better now, and hopefully tomorrow some of my issues will get cleared up. either way the best friend is super excited that I found her some mushrooms, and I think that's the plan for...

I didn't go to work yesterday. or today for that matter. I even turned my phone off so that they wouldn't be able to contact me / I wouldn't lose my nerve.

I really started out liking my job. honestly.
the two other people who worked there were pretty awesome. Theresa is the short, surprisingly vulgar grandmotherly woman who does all the cooking. Sean is...

I've been a bit AWOL because... well, that's pretty much how I'm feeling lately. Really self-conscious, lonely, and useless. Extremely apathetic towards everything. I don't get out of my apartment, and I just can't seem to make myself do anything. I haven't been going to class, or going for walks, or anything. Watch tv mindlessly, play WoW, sometimes visit/be visited by R. This is my...

Hey. I just wanted to stop by here and drop off some love. I read this post and all I have to say is that life is what you make it and that if you don't change nuthin' ... ain't nuthin' gonna change.

It's really unfortunate that you haven't been able to find 20-30 minutes to spend with Mother Nature. Just look outside, if you see her I bet she begs you to come outside. Sometimes I feel there are times in my life when things clearly aren't going for me and I step back from the whole big picture and just have a look at what's actually going on. Most of the time when I am feeling recluse it's for good reason... imbalance. Twenty minutes surrounded by nature might help fix that.

When it comes to meeting new people I'm in the exact same boat as you, and if it wasn't for the fact that I go to school I'd never meet anyone new. I pretty much force myself to interact with my other classmates in my GenEd classes.

It IS February too, and the lack of daily sunshine and constant gray skies doesn't help either. Spring is around the corner though. I'm really grateful that you're here, and I don't even know you. Just keep your head up, the world is full of beautiful people. If you ever need an unbiased third-party to vent to, I'm always here.

~love~

Sorry for the way it sounds but : yeah! what he said !

I can't really fill in for anything because Braden just told this so... well.

Just remember that, as for meeting new people, you are as eager and insecure as the next person to meet somebody. Just drop your pencil in front of somebody. look at his\her shirt and tell him that you love it, Even A siple smile should do the trick.

Well, I relly hope you find the courage to turn that mean doorknob now, it feels like you need it.

Go git her tiger !

This week can already suck it.
I was rushing all over the place yesterday trying to get all of my shit done and still get to class on time... and mid-sprint for the bus I got a call from my physician. Apparently there was some sort of abnormality with my last pap, and I have to go in next Tuesday afternoon to "discuss" it. I...

School is a necessary evil. You can handle it, you just have to keep your head down and plow through it. I hear you though... I've got another 4 years coming my way puke

Eugene had her surgery yesterday, but she seems to be doing well. Her belly is all shaved and stitched up, and it's weird petting her. But the important thing is that she seems to be feeling okay!
I took today off to stay with her just in case, but I really can't justify it again tomorrow.

Glad your pallie is all better.
Hope you ate more than garlic bread tonight.
onesandzeros:
I felt so bad for our cat when we got her spayed, her belly was so fluffy and then it was bare. She was cute though, she thought she was all hard, so anytime you'd come by she'd roll over and be all "Look at my scar!".

Finally home from school. I feel like I don't have enough time to do things lately. School every day, and then when I'm done all my reading/etc I just want to relaxxxxxx. But I have to feed myself, and take care of the pets, and spend time being social, ahhh.

I see my best (female) friend a few times a week, and on the weekends...

I hate to get all alternative medicine on you here, but maybe you have an internal yeast growth. Symptoms do include craving starches and being tired.

Sorry if this seems choppy or written funny. I just woke up!
What a long week! School, vet visits, and my great-aunt Jean died.

She was 84, and I didn't really get the details. From the tone at the wake, and funeral service, and when my father told me... well, it seems like it was expected. I wasn't as close to her branch of the...

If you have specific japanese treats you are looking for, I can keep my eye open. I know there are some adzuki flavoured ones around here, but I haven't paid close attention to which, as my wife gets some of them from Toronto and orders some from Japan.

I'd suggest that I could scan the packages of what I run across, but unfortunately my scanner doesn't have a Mac OS-X driver available, and my PC is not working these days.

Oh, no no no.. Don't misunderstand.

I LOVE steak. love
Like Patton Oswalt loves steak.

The only problem is that although I love it, I recognize that it is not one of the healthiest things a person can eat. My issue was that my family doesn't understand the whole "steak isn't great for you" thing, and therefore eats it way more often than I'm comfortable with. Besides, steak should be a delicacy. Something that you eat on rare occasions. I want to get dressed up to eat a steak - like whole 9 yards with a suit and tie and cufflinks. I want to feel like the steak is my long lost pal who I haven't seen in 10 years, but who never changed and is still awesome and funny... and not douchy with a bunch of kids.

The rarity is what makes steak awesome to me - and my family is killing it. mad

Anyway, good luck jogging. I tried that for a little while, but my shins can't take it. Of course I switched to the eliptical machine at the gym, but that's stupidly boring. Plus I didn't want to pay for a gym membership anymore, so I lost my access. whatever

I have. so much. to do. tomorrow. Ugh.

Buy a bus pass, pick up/fill out/sign/send in my loan documents, have a student ID made, pay student fees, buy some supplies, actually find my way to the one class I have (Popular Music, Culture, and Comm.), and then somehow arrange schedules with my father so he can take me and the kitten to the vet.

Three days. That is all I have left before starting university again.

I'm taking all of that time to stay in bed watching anything I can get my hands on. I'm about to finish S2 of Criminal Minds (Mandy Patinkin! Thomas Gibson! Matthew Gray Gubler! and in this episode Keith Carradine!!!), and then I'll have to move on to movies. I try to watch at...

100 movies every year?
That's not too bad.
One movie every 3.65 days - my problem is I never pay attention to the whole thing unless I'm in a movie theatre. Otherwise I get distracted and do other stuff.

Too bad about your snowboarding accident. frown
I never go near the damn things after they dislocated my arm 10 years ago. I still haven't forgiven winter sports in general.

Thanks for the add, new friend! biggrin

(ed. just noticed you're a fan of the Doctor, hello new BEST friend wink )

I had to look up where St John was, but of course it's the largest city in New Brunswick and Canada's oldest incorporated city. I'm feeling mighty dumb about that. Anyways I think the moral of your blog was to eat more Pho. I can support that. blackeyed

Hope you feel better!
