It's been a while since I attempted a blog homework but I like this one and so many sprung to mind from different phases of my life.
My aunty is a massive and avid reader, she would always arrive with a new science fiction series, I'd read the hobbit and the Lord of the rings triology before I was 11. She would always tell me that 'knowledge is power and we all like a bit of power'
My grandad was a funny, intelligent, family man. He adored us and hated to see us cry... he's the reason I have 'don't cry because it's gone, smile because it happened' (he's probably the reason I'm such a pinch of a salt kinda girl)
And I do definitely stand by the 'a son is a mothers anchor' and 'friends are the family you choose for yourself'
This is my anchor and my family. I couldn't get better, I could definitely do a lot worse.
I have so many quotes that I cling to when I'm having a melt down or a hard time... my mental health worker says 'don't get bitter, get better'
I could go on, but I'll end with my quote full of positivity and support, from an author everyone knows... but holds a beautiful bond between me and one of my closest and oldest incredible friends
Thank you to @rambo @lyxzen and @missy for a beautiful and thoughtful homework.
Much love,
A very happy Circe.
