I always blog about other things, ideas, and people. Now I will do that occasional blog about ME.

Having a child is tiring. Now I understand what parents complain about. The first few months of the kiddies' life you are sleeping four to five hour cycles. It was just Sara and I working full time jobs. The tiring part is that my body cannot get...

there are a few places around here where you can go and dig up little dino bones for a price. strangely my home town in Iowa was once at the bottom of the sea and you can goto one of the parks and see fossilized shells in the rocks.

Alrighty.

This weekend I attend the wedding of a friend I've known for quite some time.

And uhh everything else is gearing up to National Novel Writers Month in November. 50,000 word or more novel starting november 1st and ending november 30th. There's live word counts and meetings. Yeah good times. I haven't the foggiest idea what my tale will be about.

It will be...

How was the wedding? And what is the premise of your novel? I surmise a fantasy or sci-work...perhaps I'm wrong, who fuckin' knows with you...

Good to hear you are well...wear a condom.

Dude! I added two strips of well cooked bacon to my usual hummus recipe.

Even as a writer, I must be cliche and say I cannot describe the joy in my mouth in words.

Writing a book is friggin exhausting. I'm going to my cousin's wedding this weekend to see some family members I'm not looking forward to seeing. My drummer is going through male PMS. Our democratic candidate, Richard Blumenthal is a toolbox, but I still won't vote for Linda McMahon.

This excellent Family Guy episode is my new favorite!

Such an awesome episode. I want an American made coffee pot. tongue

Had an interesting dream this afternoon. I was driving a car. There was a passenger next to me, a guy, but I don't know who it was.

The vehicle stalled on a hill.

Then it went in reverse.

I pushed the gas pedal down harder making it reverse even faster.

I tried to change the gear into Drive but it was stuck on reverse...not once...

I'm halfway there.

Here's a brief summary AS IT EXISTS NOW. The plot is hinted at, but definitely not in this in its entirety. So yeah, if you like reading...have fun!

Genre: Paranormal Thriller/Suspense
Jamie Solberg born in West Berlin Germany and living in Connecticut USA is a 25 year old post-grad young man having trouble finding a good job in this economy. Raised alone...

Yeah i do get manic, but the deal with that blog is, I have been trying to write a blog for about a week now, and that was the pile up from all the other snippets i saved on other open windows from past days, stickies notes on the Macbook, etc.... so its HUGE. haha. smile

Hey kids! After a couple months of research and conjuring up characters I started working on another book. This blog is a brief crappy synopsis and nothing else. It's a suspense with elements of some supernatural and subcultural elements. I researched paranormal activity, clairvoyance, government projects, the FBI, the CIA, american travelers/gypsies, rave culture, 1920's german history, the soviet union in the 80's, famous psychics,...

Oh yeah, the synopsis sort of reminded me of a book I read a few years ago, but I couldn't, for the life of me, remember any of the details. Thanks to the wife's "google-fu" she was able to track it down:

Lord Vishnu's Love Handles. I remember it being a fun read.

Spent some time in the recording studio last week with my band. It went really smooth, probably the easiest recording experience I've ever had with any band. (and I've recorded easily over 100 songs in my life) The songs sound really good in their pre-mastered/rough stages. I've shocked myself at how far my singing and lyrics have come. I feel I lack a good technical...

That's such a great stage for kids. Enjoy the hell out of it. Unfortunately, we've just about reached that stage where the spawn is "too cool" for her parents. We're not quite relegated to dropping her off on the corner & staying 50 paces away in public . . . yet . . . but I know its only a matter of time.

Enjoy the tour (if that's possible), but I know NOLA for Halloween will be a blast.
