Well. my attempt to be political has failed.
Well, anyway, I'm a rational anarchist.
I KNOW, i can hear the guffaws, and the remarks like "isn't that something like military intelligence?"
but it's not like that, really. I've never thrown a molotov cocktail. Never spraypainted an anarchy symbol on a wall.
Because Anarchy is NOT about chaos, and people doing ANYTHING they want.
An ideal anarchist society, of course, has no government. everything is handled by mutual consent, from the smallest thing to the largest. It is a decentralized utopia, a libertarian's dream.
And completely impossible, like all utopias. This is where the rational bit comes in. You see, I realize that people seem to NEED government just the same way they need religion. then need to feel a part of something larger than them selves, have something or someones make their decisions for them. So, people get together to make laws for themselves AND everyone else, for their" own good."
So, I live within this society, and I do get certain benefits from it. But, being a rational anarchist, I do not recognize any inherent legitimacy to that government, so any law that is too abhorrent to me, I break, accepting any consequences (that is, if I get caught)
It is a lovely system.
