R Dominique and I are in the final packing processes for prom as we speak. This will be a rather fun night to remember, I hope, plus I get to see SF before we flutter away from CA forever. ::sad look:: and just as we were getting to know the SGSD people, too.

I shall be wearing a blue blazer over a black shirt and...

I am a god among insects. I have hacked my reality. I have tickets to see the matrix, which comes out tomorrow, today.
"What are you trying to tell me, that I can get advance screening movie tickets?"

"No, Chi, I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to."

It has been said before that ideas are similar to viruses, traveling from host to host and replicating. How many times have you had a song stuck in your head, and not been able to get it out until you passed it on to someone else? Or, perhaps, you contracted a bad mood that infected those around you. Of course, the clich that the best...

Ah... interesting. Let's take this a little further. All ideas are viruses. Flowing, mutating, combining, splintering, etc. Every thought in your head was caused by a thought from somewhere else. Given that, is the collection of ever changing "viruses" in your head actually you? There is only one way to find out. Sit someplace quiet and try to stop thinking. It's easier said than done but well worth the effort.

Warning! You have just been infected with a bit of viral Buddhism. wink

A thousand books, a hundred movies, countless stories have begun at the end. You are given a glimpse of what lays at the end of the journey, just enough to pique your interest and make you try and figure out how it got there. It is like a connect the dots, where they have part of it filled in for youjust enough to make it...

I've gone friend-happy!

That "add me as a friend" button keeps calling to me. It reaches out through the screen and tugs at my brain, takes hold of my wrist and guides my mouse hand towards it.

Am I trying to satisfy a repressed urge from an unpopular childhood? mmm..no, don't think so.

I just think i want easy access to what these fun people...

Long Hair. I've spent over a year trying to obtain it. I like my hair, it gets quite a few compliments, and my wife is damned possessive of it. ::grins::

The thing is, though, I don't know if it is me, anymore. I look in the mirror, sometimes, and I don't recognize myself in it. I grew my hair out because I had alwaus wanted...

Is it true that by observing something, you inevitably change it?
Blog. LiveJournal. An online record of a life. People value them because of the candidness, the frank unglamourized window that they provide into someone's life.
You know, though, anyone writing one of these knows it will be read, and will automatically change things, omit things, or exaggerate things, making it fit an online persona...
