I just saw an article about girl named Amanda Todd who committed suicide.
This web site feels like the right place to offer my opinion on this tragedy. It's time to stop telling our children that the internet is forever, and no picture can ever be deleted. They already know that, what they don't know is that it doesn't mean anything.
It will not follow them for the rest of their lives. Because the internet is forever, forever filling up with shit that will never be deleted.
Every second of every day something is being posted that is supposed to ruin someones life. That will not happen. Every one who judges you for some image or video, will very soon have something even more humiliating posted about them. That is a mathematic certainty because now everyone has a video camera all the time and no human is perfect. And we are all human.
