Errrrgh. I'm not ready. It's after 3 PM. My car is still in the shop. I haven't finished washing clothes. I haven't wrapped presents. I'm out of dog snacks and Juno doesn't want the stale ass rawhide I gave her. My recycling is totally overflowing and there is a bunch of crap in my fridge I need to toss before I fly out tomorrow. Life maintenance. Sometimes it just sucks.
In the good news column, I found a better ride to the airport. My friend was going to give me a ride, but she was going to have to drop me off two hours early. Ewwww. It's one of those tiny regional airports which means I arrive, I check in, I walk on the plane. The largest line is the security line and there are, at most, four people in line at a time. I probably just jinxed it.
My neighbor came through though. He can drop me off at the appropriate time so no early morning floundering around for me in a 'port that doesn't serve even a slightly decent cup of coffee. I was really hoping to pick up a new book for the trip though. If I haven't mentioned it yet, MY CAR IS STILL IN THE SHOP. Alas, no new book for me. I could ride my bike up to the bookstore, but that's a pretty good trek. With my luck, they won't have the title I'm looking for. I could call ahead, but eh.....fuck it. It already sounds{/I] like more work than I'm willing to do right now. Besides, I have shit to do here at home.

Pretty much although I was a drunk before the relationship, got it together during, am now lame and live in libraries and in my studio. Ok that's not true either. I'm quite a lot of fun actually, I like to go out now and again I'm just busy as hell now and am trying to be a "professional" meaning I only get wasted with artists who want to fight about theory or a show. I live for moments like that.
