Damn. I can't find my awesome kid's size Batman costume. I bought it last year at Wal Mart to wear to work and it was the most bad ass thing you could think of. I had to cut the legs off so I could wear it and it came with a cheap plastic mask with string on the back. And now I think that someone...

not so much curdling as charming.

my guy ended up going as an old man 'tourist' - hawaiin shirt, short khaki shorts, sandals with black socks, old man hat, and camera around his neck. it was great, and he came up with it 4 hours before the party we went to.

how did your halloween turn out?
doctorspooky:
something bloody and drippy should be stuck on that pitchfork, then it'd be chilling.

Yo. I haven't been on here in a while cause I've been too lazy to type and/or think that much after work. It's not that I'm doing anything physically or mentally strenuous at work, I'm just exceptionally lazy.

Anywho, my sweet-as-pie girlfriend bought me Paper Mario*high fives Amadeus* as an early anniversary/Christmas present, so that'll occupy my day off tomorrow. I'll also need to go...

I feel like I've joined a cult. Best Buy is scary. They're all like, "We're a team!", "We're gonna have fun!", "We're the best damn store in Canada!", "High five!". puke As long as I stay grumpy and cynical on the inside, they can't take my soul. biggrin
Somebody please give me some career options. I don't care if you don't know much about me! Just do...

Yeah, everyone I know that works there hates it. I contemplated applying there once, because my job has got to suck more than that one. I ended up bailing out at the last minute because I suddenly realized I hate people, and no amount of money was going to make me change my mind. biggrin

I work for Canada Post. Need I say more? tongue

I go for orientation for my new job tomorrow morning. I predict horrible customer-employee role playing excersises that I'll be forced to participate in. It's another shitty retail job, but at least I'll get a 20% discount on movies and games and stuff (new turntable, here I come!). I'm also looking forward to dealing with snotty yuppie customers over the holiday season. Yay! Oh well,...

i'm usually quite stodgy when it comes to my chocolate too, but it wasn't mine (someone else was sharing with me).

I thought of library tech at one point as well. Sounded pretty good... hanging out in a nice quiet building, surrounded by all sorts of interesting books.... But yeah, like you say who knows what the future holds. frown

I know the Ancient Mayans, (you know the ones that dissappeared from South America) they predicted the end of the world as we know it in the year 2010.

So I figure, hey, maybe now's the time to rack up a huge education loan. Maybe I'll never have to pay it back. wink

It's either that or continue to drift through life for another five years...

Then, when the world's economy shuts down and we're all living like Mad Max in "The Road Warrior" I can become a pirate.

ARRR!!!

As usual, my weekend was non-stop excitement. On Friday I watched 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' with my girly-poo Colee(Lame) and I quite enjoyed it. Last night I tagged along with Colee to a gathering with her co-workers at Karaoke night at the Crown and Hand (a bit of a dive). If I had a bit more courage and alcohol in me,...

I am Sloth personified. After I finsh my cup of cofee and finish dinking around on the computer I'll probably play some Super Nintendo, then maybe watch some Buffy DVDs or something.

Speaking of Super Nintendo, I bought the game Chrono Trigger for 9$ last week. 9$! That probably means nothing to you, but it's pretty rare, I'd have to pay like $40-$50 to get...

Holy! $9?! That IS a fantastic find!! eeek
Hero (and for furture reference, any other "blockbuster" or "should-bring-in-the-crowds" type movies) is at Galaxy. they send all the potential money makers there since Cineplex and Galaxy have the same owner, and since the Galkaxy just opened recently-ish, it needs to make lots o' Moola.

...but yeah, go see Hero, it's awesome biggrin

The Cryptopsy show on Tuesday was damned enjoyable. They played the entire "None So Vile" album, which was mind-blowing for me. Flo did a 2-4 minute (by my estimation) drum solo that literally made everyone's head explode. Literally! It was messy. It was cool to see Lord Worm walking around before the show, calmly drinking his tea, wearing his old man glasses, then to see...

We have similar ideas on the concept of god, we should talk theology some day.

All I know for sure is I won't bow down and I won't worship him, but I still respect God. If that make me a bad person well then make some room for me in hell cause i sure don't want to go to heaven.

I realized that what I put in my journal last week about what I did over the weekend is pretty much identical to what I did this weekend. How dull. Last night Colee and I couldn't decide whether or not to go to the show at the Exchange. We were thinking it over for about half an hour, then my friend called to say that...

I finally put some pictures up in my picture folder. Now you all must look at them and tell me how awesome they are. Thanks.
Another boring weekend for me, just how I like 'em. Me and the lil' lady rented a couple of Six Feet Under dvds and soon we will park our asses on the couch and pehaps make some sort of frozen...

Oh yeah, I forgot that. Lou is a two headed cat. surreal

Seriously though Gargoyle is a pretty badass cat. She's taken swipes at Buddy and knows how it keep him in line. She's also the most antisocial cat you've ever seen, even refusing to eat with the other cats. She's also very clever, always looking for an oportunity to get into the house.

She's one badass pussey. blackeyed

Yesterday morning the father of my girlfriend Colee(Lame) had a heart attack. He's alright now, but it was pretty serious. She was pretty shook up (she seems OK now), but if anyone who knows her comes across this, maybe pop by Lame's journal and wish her well.
As for myself, I got a new job the other day (so did Colee, at the same place...
