Holy Mother of Effing Jeezus Deus, with all due respect to any girl in a Catholic school uniform. I have been gone oh so long, and how becoming the aerial on re-entry. But what to do with a wish list? I hardly know where I've been. Something about a 7:30 am work schedule and insurance claims. A handrolled cigarette mistaken for a spliff. Blinds thrown...

I wish I could post a picture of my new house in Baltimore for youse guys, but I am inept.

I move from Virginia in a couple of weeks. May I please remain a member emeritus of SGVA? I couldn't bear being kicked out for geographical transgressions.

I've missed ya'll while I've been dealing with moving crap. I'm going to drop out of earshot again,...

10 Observations at the Beach

1- If you drink beer on a beach where there's a sign, "No Alcoholic Beverages," people who are on the beach not drinking beer because they are obeying the sign will be mad at you. mad

2- Someone could actually be heard asking, "Why is the water so salty?" confused

3- Dogs are not allowed on some beaches, but leaving dirty diapers...

After the U.S. military "liberated" towns and villages in Iraq, it wrapped barbed wire around them.

Any government using barbed wire risks alienating its people, and will use it only when the political costs do not exceed the advantages. Productivity depends on the efficient management of flux, and the ordering of space must ensure the greatest control possible over circulation, at the same time allowing...

The new moon is holding the old moon in her arms.

The weed was laced.

Sunday is a denial of Monday.

Hey I still don't grok this interface... how do I make a new journal entry instead of just keep adding to the old one... its getting huge because I keep quoting things I've written elsewhere LOL.

Sunday is a denial of Monday because Sunday is the day of Sol Invictus, the Unconquorable Sun (the true god of the Christians incidently, thats why were aren't still Jews or worshipping on Friday. Thank Constantine for that "In hoc signo vinces" LOL).

And Monday is the day of the Moon, "Moon-day".

And the moral? Grow your own.

laced weed huh? sounds like fun. So good weekend then? So what do you want Boheme? Figure out a day yet you wanna hang out?

1, I took my dog to stay with family in NC temporarily because my realtor doesn't like him hanging around while people view the house. My dad called to say that ChiCha has been sitting at the glass door looking out at the driveway since I left. I feel sick.

2. At my friend's funeral, the widow wouldn't let the undertakers lower the casket into...

I called into a radio show last night to say my piece in defense of Pit Bull Terriers, and at the end of my rant, I said something to the effect of we need to break up the pit bull fighting rings to decrease the demand for puppies who are bought for behavioral modification. The show host's response: "Hey, remember that song from the 70s:...

Hello, lovely people.

My mother called me today with horrible news. My very first boyfriend died over the weekend. He had a heart attack at the age of 38.

The light that burns twice as bright lives half as long.

The last time I saw him was years after we drifted apart. We danced at my sister's wedding.

Mike was a bookish, kind, creative boy....

I didn't get hives, or chives... I got some fries of the all-fat-fried-frozen fries-are-identical variety, and a bowl of veggie chili too hot to eat by the time I wanted to leave. whatever
I saw nobody at Dukem, and staved my hunger with beers at the club.
I still don't know what you look like blush perhaps I should open your Pics and then maybe I'd know who to look for next time.
I personally found this a quite better show, although that's mostly due to visibility improving 1000000% over the Cramped Cat Club. I did miss Snow and Violet, but they did Peaches this time, Pearl was a brilliant hula-hooper and Dustin Hoffman, and I could actually see, so it's no contest.

edit - I see your Pics are more low-profile... and uhh nice! Cute cats! Nice tatt! Nice... everything else! blush

Sleepwalking. Do I wear my boots while I'm sleepwalking? I can't quite tell. I wonder if I'm an exhibitionist sleepwalker. Do I unlock the doors while I'm asleep so other sleepwalkers may enter? What does ChiCha the dog do while I'm roaming around asleep? Is he my guide through the ether, or is he sleepwalking, too? Did I try to put the books in an...

Well I did some time in art school there. And I just kind of stayed on. Sort of.

Hmm it wasn't for his cover of "Hurt" was it? I know she's in that, and I don't think he did a video after she died. I'll have to think on that for a moment.
I hung on to NC after the film industry there went belly up in the last couple of years. I spend more time out of state than in state but I technically still live there.

True to her name, old Boheme is picking up again, off on new adventures. I have tendered my notice at my job in D.C., where I've churned out prose for a record sic (uh, [sic]: six) years, and I've taken a new gig in Baltimore. Now I have the summer to unload my house and find new digs for my elite cadre of nonhuman superanimals...

Right on, kiddo. I like your style!!! Don't listen to Cheech. He was actually in the Human League. He came on board to write and produce the song HUMAN. I try and tell him that everything is cool and he should be proud of his accomplishment. But still he hides!

It's the 15th anniversary of Tianamen! I can hardly believe it. Seems like yesterday I was a sophomore in college watching the Tianamen coverage on TV, seeing the tank roll toward that lone activist. Images like that become emblazoned on the brain. I heard that since 1989, the Chinese government has undetaken an erasure of the protests in Tianamen Square and their horrific culmination. Fifteen-year...

Moments ago there was a lovely storm in the mountains -- or tall hills, as I've been informed they are. To a girl who grew up in flat farmlands and cement military bases, they look like mountains!

I love storms that make the daylight last longer. It's 8:30 pm right now, and it looks like midday. There also are wispy rose-and-sugar clouds floating by.

This...

I think that was one of nicest things that anybody has said about me blush thank you very much. I think the snake charmers balance it out for everybody. I to am alone this weekend. Somebody who has a heart as big as yours should be able to find happiness. i don't even have a pet to keep me company.

I hope you can find something to make you happy this weekend. I read a lot when I find myself with nothing to do. You could take ChiCha to the park. If you need somebody to talk to e-mail me and I will give you my number. Just so you know my name is Ben
