Thanks everybody! The barbs don't really bother the other fish for the most part. When I first introduced the guppies, the barbs weren't too happy about it and would go after them so I moved the guppies back to my other tank until they reached full size (I originally bred them in another tank) Since I reintroduced them, there hasn't been any issues.

My tank is fifty gallons, I have another 50 gallon talk that I have yet to set up. When I do, I think I'll set it up as a Cichlid only tank. They cause too many issues in a community tank with other semi aggressive species in my experience.

Pets are too cool :-)
