WTF? I commented on this blog this morning. I know I did, I saw it go up.
It was very clever, and poignant - - something about the inevitability of someone taller always being in front, and cars willingness/tendency to break down just after the warranty is run, or a significant milestone is reached. Apparently it was lost, and now I'll never recreate that brilliance. Shit.

In any event, aye, it's a rough revelation for me that someday I may want a smaller breed. I'm thinking I'll work my way down over time. Maybe one of the Belgian Shepherd breeds next, then a bull terrier, and finally a little drop-kick dog for when I'm in the nursing home.

I like the way you think man.

Oh, & yeah, I saw - - too late - - that the prior comment was there. Let's just pretend it was clever & poignant.

sorry to hear about the promotion, but at least it went to someone worthy & a friend eh?
As to the truck [& the show] it seems that's the way the universe is designed. There is always someone taller in front of me, and vehicles seem to know "milestones," i.e., as soon as they're out of warranty, hit 100K, etc., they'll break down or otherwise cause a headache. surreal

Oh my lord! Today I narrowly avoided a completely accidental sexual assault charge.

I was at the doctors office and I was getting some blood drawn to get my cholesterol and triglycerides levels checked. The medical technician that was drawing the blood was an attractive woman in her late twenties, brunette with purple highlights.

I'm ashamed to say that I'm a little bit of a...

I was tempted to go & dig out the old classic Animaniacs "hello nurse" video, but instead I guess I'll just say thank heavens for close calls.

Adoration of a Gellatineous Meat Cube

I love Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches. Slathered in creamy horsey sauce and arby's sauce, so the top
bun keeps sliding off the stack of oddly colored brown/gray meat. Normally I don't go too wild, and only get a single medium size, and never go for the beef and cheddar (I never trust liquid cheese product). The best part about...

In reverse order: Nice ink; glad the family medical procedure sounds successful; I'm not sure why, but that Easter egg drop story reminds me a lot of Dylan's "Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues" - - glad there were no permanent injuries; the Kills, HELL YEAH; good luck on the alcohol thing & I hear you. I like to have a few beers or glass or two of wine each night - - so "occasionally" to me seemed disingenuous, but I don't much care to be drunk and only very rarely get inebriated; and . . . Arby's - - really? I stay away from all fast food unless it's an emergency or we're on the road.

Oh, & Gryphon is an Irish Wolfhound. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but loveable in his own pathetic fashion.

Been feeling a little overwhelmed lately, and remembered Ewan MacColl song lyrics that always get me inspired. A song about whether your just going to sit-back and take it, or do something about it? Are you going to make a difference?
Karen Casey's version of the song is easier on the ears though (sorry Mr. MacColl --- RIP).

The Ballad of Accounting - Ewan MacColl...

Hey it just happens that my middle name is "the power" hahaha just kidding, but damn that would be awesome.
As my friend Cyr said, I think honesty is best and my personal motto (that has got me in so much deep shit I am shoveling still) is to not take anything you dont want to take. Stand up and be heard. Its important. smile

Lol, it was quite funny to watch her try to wobble around and run after Momma. Trying to get up after she had laid down was also quite funny. Very adorable though. First time I've ever seen a baby horse. smile

Interviewed for a promotion within my company today after a complete night of insomnia. Too many things going on in my life and at work. I don't really want the job in question, but would love the promotion. Two hours of interviews with 2 chief engineers and 2 supervisors (one I know quite well). I believe I didn't do so well because I was way...

Driving home on M-59 near White Lake, on the side of a busy highway during rush-hour was a guy carrying a huge sign. He looked a little rough, part homeless, part Phish super-fan. This sign was a 6-foot wide piece of brown card-board, probably from a refrigerator box, and written in thick black marker, in huge block letters, was: "Go to www.MySpace.com/<some_guys_name>". Now I didn't...

Thanks Krunch! I'm usually satisfied being my own awesome, but sometimes you feel like you'll die alone, or at least die feeling alone because no one quite gets your awesome.

Last night was poker night with the deer camp boys (mostly old retirees) and of course true to my curse of bad luck I came up short for the night. But I had a winning streak for a short time. Won two large hands in a row, then it was my turn to deal. I chose 5-Card Draw, one-eyed jacks wild. Wouldn't you know it,...

Saturday we went to a formal dinner, where I wore a suit and tie, the whole nine yards, but the
problem was I was in the middle of tattoo aftercare for my chest piece that is in process. What a pain in the ass! This was in the Marriot in Southfield, where there were multiple banquets going on. So I had to go into a...

My artist could only fit me in for a one hour session today, so he couldn't finish my tattoo today. Boo! But on the bright-side, he didn't charge for today's session. smile

Today, I did finally bought a dSLR camera (Now I guess I have to sell my 35mm SLRs). It was way too much money (they suckered me in with the BestBuy interest-free offer).

Bad...
