nah, i don't know Welpot personally, but i recently mailed everyone linked to from the current Bouville just to let them know we're supporting their activity and want to spread the word, and among the few who replied was Mr Welpot himself who very kindly and flatteringly said that visiting Bouville had inspired him to puit more work into his own site and update more often. result! smile i thought that was a really nice thing to say.

i would love to get a photographer of his style and talent involved; it would pretty much be a perfect addition, but i would be reluctant to approach him. i imagine he has his own agenda to worry about. still, would it hurt to ask? whatever blush

no - it's the language of lurv. heh. biggrin 'preciate the kudos, as always.

a long-distance romance? oh man, that would kill me. but what a thrill! bittersweet. was it a slow-blooming relationship?

"sweetghost" would look awesome on wall-sized canvases. awesome in the traditional sense. guests would get lost in the textures... i look forward to seeing what you might have in store for Bouville Winter! wink

hell yeah promote it on the boards. promote away! i should be plugging it all over but i'm useless and need all the assistance i can get. i just don't know where to start... some feedback from your fellow Artists would be interesting. one thing - the site has been a bit glitchy recently and there are some continuity errors, which you may want to warn people about. how does "...crow walks in heaven..." look at your end? it's probly my crappy browser/server here at work but sometimes the gif is really staggered, which spoils the tween effect. whatever ...

They're advertising in the skies

I'm getting ready to leave the ground

You must purchase Rivers and Tides on DVD! What did you think of it?

His work is a perfect example of how scale impacts the viewer( not to mention the artist). Scale is a critical part of any work... as critical as the media the artist chooses.

By the way, I saw it at the cinema, and I cried because it was so overwhelming.

Wow, I hope your finances improve soon. And that you get a gallery!

I've started doing a collaborative project with a painter. I'll document it in a few months and show you what we're doing.

Man! I'll have to get back to you on the issue of scale as it relates to the impact on the viewer.
I would like to ask you, though, if you've seen Rivers and Tides. Have you seen Rivers and Tides?

I love the first 'bark' one, with the 'moon-spot'.

And I love your Bouville thingamy.
