Back in the day, SG had a massive social following. We used to meet up in person and party our guts out, often literally. While there were the biggest international meets (which included the chatters meets which, while quite private were no less epic,) a big part of SG for a big part of the active members was the regional meets. They were usually weekly...

This is the kind of thing I hope for from this community. Fingers crossed it's still a possibility, what a lovely read :)

My life is fucking shit. See, I'd elaborate on this, but that'd take weeks worth of typing (yup, it was years worth of livin'.)

You know, at one time, I used to blog on here almost nightly. Then I started a family and my daily happenings weren't just my own doing, and weren't just my own affect. They were a part of a few people's...

Well, I'm truly happy to hear your life has improved a lot. And congratulations on your new house! Where do you live now?
bepps:
I live in the burnin-ass-desert, @adelina. Well, we're just comin' off the winter, which can be quite cold here, but in a few weeks it'll be mighty hot. Being a fitness freak I've typically had a very low BMI and I'm a bit of a lizard so heat doesn't bother me at all and, in fact, I love it. Also, I currently have my location set as "I'm torn between the desert and the sea." and that is very true. I'm very proud to have my boat out in the harbor which I (used to) visit and stay on frequently. I say used to because staying in the hotels really killed my finances and made it tough to have a stable car to drive the 100 miles down there to get on it. That has really affected me emotionally so, while that's sure to be fixed in a matter of days from this post, I think it's worth mentioning as it's had such a big impact on me for so long. One thing that I haven't mentioned much (for reasons this blog covers) is that, for some time (if you read my older blogs) I've had my lil girl who is absolutely perfect. That's a very bold thing to say with any real truth, and especially bold since every dad ever has said that about their child, but I can say with total conviction that I really was blessed with the closest thing you can have to a perfect human. :D

Back in the day I used to go into the desert and ride dirtbikes a lot. Out in the desert there are many hazards. Sometimes there's deep holes dug into the ground for no apparent reason whatsoever (usually just for an old used-up-five-years-ago bonfire pit.) Anyway, during a night's drinkin' a lot of times we'd bust out our bikes and go ridin' just so we...

Lots of people just tell others what they want to hear, like a parent telling a child they're smart just to bolster their ego. I'd rather my friends be sincere and trustworthy above all.
bepps:
Indeed, @horror_head. The thing I see the most are people telling their acquaintances, especially pretty girls, that no matter what they chose they made the right choice. It means you get some people doing some really stupid things,  such as stabbing others in the back, knowing they're still gonna have their army of followers. When I see someone like that it can be scary and I try and avoid them. :D

Well. It seems on April 26th I was busy on my 10 year anniversary of getting an SG membership. I was gonna blog about what all has happened to me on SG in that time and how it has affected my life. Perhaps next blog.

There is one other 10 year anniversary that I think is worth mentioning. 10 years ago, suicidegirls finally let an...

Please do me a favor (In this order!)

FIRST Post your thoughts on the definition of 'friend' in a blog comment.

Do not edit it (well not after you've clicked the spoiler.)

Then, click the spoiler and let me know what differences you see as significant between your definition(s) and mine keeping it indifferent to our relationship, more being about your general view on friendships,...

I consider a friend someone that will be brutally honest with me whether I want to hear the truth or not. And yet they still love me regardless of how much I choose not to listen to their good advise... Sadly I am this type of friend which makes me kinda friendless..cause my so called friends "Can't handle the truth"
bepps:
I'm the same way, @merlowe. In fact that's pretty much what I said in this other blog. :D https://suicidegirls.com/members/bepps/blog/2738023/monday/

I'd put stuff here but I don't really have anything specific to blog about. Life's moving along. 2012 was one of the darkest years of my life. I don't want 2013 to be that dark. I'm not entirely sure how I can do that, but I'll tell you in 2014 if I was successful, what I could have done to be more successful, and...

My dad, above everything else, was an aviator. His life's passion was flying. Until Danger girl was born, my life's passion was racing. A few days after my dad died back in 1998, I went to the Reno air races. While I do love aviation, I wouldn't say I have a life-obsessing passion for it. Certainly not like my dad did. And while he also...

Speaking of San Berdoo, there are hookers E V E R Y W H E R E !

They had to fire a large portion of their police force a month or two ago and if you drive down baseline in the middle of the day (on the east side of the 215 freeway), the streets corners are packed with hoes. It's kind of awesome, actually.

And I'm not really in San Bernardino, just the county. I mean, if we wanna get technical about counties, Issue_ is in San Bernardino county smile But San Bernardino itself is more known for it's production of meth rather than beautiful women. Well, maybe they start out beautiful. But meth is a hellueva drug and changes that pretty quickly...

A week er three ago I was leaving to go home and said my usual thing to whoever happened to be in chat at the time. It's usually something like "Have fun everyone. Enjoy your time in chat as if it's the last night you'll ever have to be here. You never know, you could die tomorrow. In fact you probably will. If you do,...

Man, April was quite a month. It started out with my thinking "Wow, look at this surplus of money I've got." That lasted about two weeks until I realized that I don't have a surplus, but I'm massively in the minus at a very critical time. Pardon me while I rant.

It all started Halloween 2008. I was living in my sister's laundry room, workin'...
