I do not vote. Nor do I see its utmost importance.. For the simple reason that truth is not an argumentum ad populum, and the truth is, these people are not high caliber leaders. They do not represent me, my ideals, etc. Democracy only works as well as the citizens are well informed, and there is simply too much unknown, obscurity, or flat out deceit to make a proper decision. Truth will have the final say, relax. It's not a big deal. Way more info to follow when i get around to writing on leadership.
Democracy in this country, in fact the overruling mindset of our country itself, is based on competition. I refuse to support the inherently divisive nature of it. We would be spending our time far more wisely if we learned to connect and cooperate than divide and conquer. We can do much better than this.
We have been catering to appearance for too long, it's long overdue that we make the switch to authenticity.
On a lighter note, I must agree with George Carlin about election day: The difference between me and someone who voted is at least I'll have something to show for it when I'm done masturbating. Love!!!
