Training for my marathon has been pretty consuming, especially when Shabs is training too, and we have to schedule our runs around each other so one of us is home with the kiddo's. Went to an outdoor festival to see Weezer and Sam Roberts. Great show. By the end, there were many beers had by all, and a couple guys started fighting, so the crowd parted, and low and behold Shabs and I were 2nd row for some of our favourite Weezer songs

Well....we decided to get married here first with the kids, then hopefully leave asap for Vegas call it second week in October....we shall see how finances pan out!

Marathon training has officially begun. After 2 races in 6 days, and then a 16k run 2 days later, my legs were toast. Thank goodness yesterday was an off day. 13k run tonight, then an easy 6 tomorrow.

We have Ottawa race weekend last weekend - the marathon, half, and some smaller races. There was a 2km fun run this year for the first time and the participant metals were from coconut shells from some third world country...I forget the full details but they were a big hit
