Graduated nursing school. Just collecting degrees at this point. When I pass the boards I'll be a BS, RN. Feels good. And to anyone that thinks being a nurse is easy in any way shape or form then you've obviously never had to do chest compressions on a dying patient with blood up to your elbows, wrestled someone high on meth back into bed while they're in the middle of pissing on the floor, or dealt with irate family members who don't know what the FUCK they are talking about. Oh, and then take the final I just took.....aaaaaand then go fuck yourself.
So whats next? Get a few years of (hopefully, fingers crossed) ICU experience under my belt, then probably some travel nursing. Move around the country, specifically the southwest...Arizona, New Mexico, Cali, Hawaii. Then another degree. Masters in Forensics? Funeral Sciences? I guess we'll see.
I'm actively trying to get more passion into my life. I feel like I procrastinate entirely too much and end up not doing the things I want to do. And I never get enough sleep. I laugh as I write that because its almost 1:30 am and I have to be at work at 7. Awesome.
