Awesome weather this weekend. Spent half of it at the dog park and now my dog is sleeping soundly. Hope there are few more nice weekends like this one before it gets to 100 degrees in the shade.

If the IFOCE ever adds banana eating to the list of sanctioned events, I think they might have the makings of a 'reality' show I'd watch.

Taking my son and his friend to see the Harlem Globetrotters tonight. I loved going as a kid, hope they enjoy it too.

Spent the morning working. Took 4 people 3 hours to do the work one person could complete in an hour.

snarkies! This is the first weekend in 6 months where I haven't gotten a single phone call from work. OK, so I'll probably get a phone call right after I click 'submit', but it's been nice not having to drop everything and put out a fire.

Just got back from Antone's where the Eric Tessmer Band was having a CD release party. Picked up the CD while I was there and am in the process of ripping it via iTunes. The new CD was recorded at Joes Generic Bar, which is where I first heard them. The owner of Joe's was killed late last year, and the bar is now closed....
