Halloween Fun!

WARNING: This is a very graphics-heavy entry, hence all the spoiler tags to improve your load time. I'm nice like that sometimes.

On Saturday night a big bunch of us went to Club 181 to get our freak on. All included were myself, my boyfriend Matt, my best friend James, Matt's brother Rich, Rich's girlfriend Emily, my good friend Mark, and two of...

Not as if they will miss me... But makes me feel better. whatever Funny thing is, they didn't even ask why I was closing my account.
flyonwall:
it's from Glue by Irvine Welsh.. (trainspotting, porno, acid house, etc.)

the full passage it's from..

BANGKOK AIRPORT, THAILAND
410PM
Bangkok. The worst is still ahead, a terrifying thought. But the madness has abated. The girls at the gift counter in the airport look fantastic, better than any of the whores downtown. I wonder how much they get paid for that. Their scrubbed decency. The way they smile all the time. Are they happy or is it just American customer-care swarm at work? Emotional labour, you get all that in the service-industry world we live in. ** Smile, though your heart is breaking. ** We're all like slaves in the fields now, putting on the front that says 'everything's fine, boss' while we worry about how to make ends meet.

It's "National Coming Out Day!"

Apparently it's been around for a while, and a lot of people wait until today to tell their friends and family about their true sexual orientation. I didn't know this at all.

I know that it's probably no secret that I like the ladies as well as the boys, but in the spirit of the thing, here you go...

I'm...

It's Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and I fell more stuffed than the turkey. Dear gods I love to eat. How was your weekend?

Also, I will be changing my alias to Llewellyn soon (probably some time Monday evening). It's Welsh, meaning "Like A Lion" and I feel it suits me very well. Plus, I've always freaking loved that name, even moreso after learning it's meaning....

What an effing horrible day. I woke up to a blinding migraine and have been on either the bed or the couch all day. I've actually vomited because of the pain. Getting these every couple of months sucks. Normally I just smoke pot since it's the only thing that works, but if the pain is too bad I can't stand the smell of smoke. Catch...

Yes new Thai place!
It's really nice, super cool decor (there's a crazy water feature built into the wall on the right when you walk in). The food is quite good, I don't know if you have been to the Bangkok Paradise on Richmond but it is owned by that guys son and the food is very similar. Service is amazing there and it is reasonably priced for a nice dinner out. Entrees run about $11and up. It is located between Richmond and Talbot on Dundas on about a block west of Starbucks on the same side of the street. And they have sticky rice with peanut sauce need I say more? I hope you are well maybe we will run into each other one of these days....what are you up to this weekend?

An update two days in a row? I think something's right with me!

I had a really great time in London lastnight. It really lifted my spirits, which I desperately needed. I was amongst friends who appreciated the company of myself and Sparky, and had little problem with showing it. We felt welcome and wanted and fun. It was wonderful.

First, Matt and I went...

Honestly I would have more to say if my life were that interesting right now.

My college bookstore job ended today. It was a temp job from the start so don't feel bad. They want me back for next semester. I want a steady job right now. We'll see what happens.

My two best friends ditched me tonight. I feel so fucking loved.

I can't...

Thanks for the link. The journal entry does shed a lot of light on the goings-on. I think she makes a lot of fair points and does a good job of telling an important part of the story. And then I think there are other parts of the story that have to be filled in by other people. In situations like this, no one who cares enough to write down anything is going to be a wholly disinterested witness, so you have to go to a lot of sources to try figuring out something close to The Truth.

After a while, of course, the realization that all this time is probably better spent working on an actual case becomes inescapable. wink
