My new band, The Give, has booked a gig at the Starwood Lounge, which is apparently in Downey? I will have to find out the details.

The span of time keeps lenghtening between entries, but I feel like I should have something of note to say if I am actually going to be compelled to put something down so here goes. I went on a river rafting trip on Sunday on the Kern River, which is north east of Bakersfield. It was actually pretty cool. We had to show up at...

One of my associates noted that I have not been updating and I know I hateit when people are lax about that so here goes:

I think I might be staring a new band with this kind of crazy chain-smoking guy-literally one after the other, he smoked so much that the smell clung to to me, transfered to my car and still smelled like smoke...

Went to Vegas for the long weekend, it was HOTTT. We hit town at 4pm on Saturday (the wicked traffic coming in from Los Angeles sucked) and it was 106! It was fun, the suite we had at the Venetian was fabulous!!! It was actually one of the coolest hotel rooms I've ever had. Seems like there was alot of eating, actually that's what I...

My daughter...

Well, last night, American Zero-The Unit, disintigrated. The Current lead guitarist wants to do something else and my musical partner for the last four years is tired of the band grind. So I guess I am back to the auditioning/forming a band grind... Such is life...

Tonight, American Zero-The Unit is heading to a real studio to mix a three song demo. It's in a former Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery. I dropped of the Pro Tools sessions last night and it was really cool, this is like the fruition of a childhood dream!

I send so much time and energy avoiding conflict, yet it follows me and erupts at every turn. Maybe I should just throw my arms open and let it all fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I have been off the journal for so long! Work has been hectic, I have gotten some other job offers but I'm not sure about any of the deals I'm being offered, the saga continues...My band has finished the principle recording and we are booking time with a mixing engineer the first week in June. I've got another project underway so I...

Wow, I can't think of anything very interesting to report. I am still reeling from overwork. I didn't have to do that much last weekend but the next month is like solid work. The band is about 2/3 of the way through the current demo outing. Engineering your own recording session (i.e. setting everything up, getting sounds, running the board and playing) is hard! I...
