The Hanoi tour was great, great memories with Andy and a lot to drink!! I'll post some pics of the last London show but I have yet to have them printed & scanned. What was really good is that they are on top form, really, and they enjoyed themselves during the gigs. Let's hope it lasts!
Music from France? Frankly I have no idea, I never really liked what the French do in general (with a few exceptions). I am totally gutted that Noir Desir's singer is now in jail for 10 years because of a drunken row with his partner that ended up in tragedy. Apparently he slapped her and she fell against a radiator. later died from head injuries. The worst scenario in a cheap film & sadly it's true. The only real french rocker ever is now an anonymous prisoner doing time for having killed the person he loved...
Listen to Kat Onoma if you have the chance, they're quite good. Apart from that, La Mano Negra (Manu Chao's previous band) is great. Regarding electro, you've got St Germain. I'm really not a specialist I must say!

I used to believe that "L'Enfer c'est les autres" (Hell is other people) but the older I get, the more difficult it is to get rid of the feeling that Hell is actually me. A strange entity I have not much control over & that can act in the most self-destructive fashion way too often...
