Toph,
This is your subconscious speaking. You've moved to Germany, where apparently they have not yet invented phones, computers or even modern day international postal service.
You need to reconnect (whether by email or f-ing carrier pigeon) with certain people... people who may or may not possess your username and password to suicidegirls.
That is all.

Toph,
how am I going to marry you when you're in Germany? Come on...

i haven't updated in eons. it happens.

so i have been applying to flight school, to fly helicopters. thing is, today i found out that a history of migraines may keep me from this?
oh the joys of knowing a doctor who can suggest that headaches "may start in the back of the neck", meaning that "they may just be tension headaches".
happy happy joy.

how many of you knew that my favorite holiday is new years? i live for the moment the countdown ends, the ball drops, and the world sighs in a mystical way at the thought of another year we've been given to live.

so last night, went to the radio station and stayed in the studio for a while, pretty much picking the playlist of "the...

today was humbling.
i was in baltimore last night, originally for a show but then that was cancelled so i went anyway for a party, long story.
anywho, woke up this morning and kinda wanted to get out so i decided to stop by DC on the way back, parked at the EPA and walked around the mall.
first stop was the National Archives, where...

I know what you mean being inches away from such amazing thing truly is humbling.

Being able to see artistic masters individual brush strokes is so cool!

i love the east coast.
the smiles and the cloudless skies feel so new for some reason. driving to baltimore today, can't wait.

and nyc for new years, any takers?
chris_sick:
Dude,

it's because the East Coast loves you back.

And I'm working NYE and not in the NYC.

Sorry.
er:
see if you can get yourself on the list.

for the first time in four years, i finally have a driver's license again. it feels fairly monumental, but it seems as though everything i could do to celebrate would be grounds for another suspension or revokation.
silly laws.
how are you my loves?
er:
pianist/accompanist/vocal coach. local universities (voice lessons, recitals, instrumentalists), professional choirs, that sorta thing.

what happened the first time?

toph quits piano bar, yet still plays piano until his fingers bleed.
i decided that it was taking too much away from my vast desperation to record the songs that i feel need to be recorded. i love the playing, and the production.

and i love being alive.

how are you guys?

The ban hasn't gone into effect yet. The other good news being that they never considered who was going to be enforcing it. I would certainly hope that cops have something better to do than bust people for smoking in clubs.

Think of how much money we are going to spend creating an infrastructure to enforce the no smoking, and the amount of taxes lost from folks not buying as many packs of cigarettes.

it's local, but there are farms that do it all over the country. some are bigger, some smaller. it's the end of the season right now - i don't think many places (if any) do it year round... but next spring you should look into it in your area! probably just looking on google on "produce delivery" or "organic produce" would be good, or asking at a local co-op would probably also work.

oh yes, i am home.
flying to new york in a few hours, i'll be there all weekend.
and when i get back, maybe my building will have internet hooked up, cause they don't right now.
but i got a phone, so if you need the number and feel that you are in fact privy to it, tell me.

if not, have a nice weekend...

finally, i have the date for my going back home.

october 1st, i leave the middle east forever. it's strange, because i have been here for a year (since october 3rd last year), and it went by pretty quickly, but two weeks from now seems as though it's a year away.
it's a vast desperation to have those things that i miss the most.

there was a time when you served in war you did not see your family for years. fortunately now the access is better and you are able to serve your tours in months.
