Well it's about time for a new journal entry, don't you think? Considering the last one was from almost a month ago! It's not that I haven't been around, I've just been lurking lately-- reading stuff in groups mostly and keeping to myself. It's really not in my nature to type out elaborate daily ramblings and spew comments all over the site (though I do go through phases where I'm more outgoing.)
Life is pretty good I guess. I work all the time and I'm really getting sick of it. I'm going to have to go back to school-- if ambition and the desire to do something more with my life aren't enough to motivate me (and apparantly they aren't) it seems that bordom and monotony are eventually going to push me in that direction. Which is good. I guess it doesn't matter how you get there as long as it happens.
But I'm not quite there yet. So I'm medicating the bordom and growing depression that comes from realizing that your life isn't where you want it to be but you lack the motivation to change anything about it (and, of course, you don't even know where you WANT it to be)... by entertaining idyllic little daydreams about how life will be when Adam and I move in together in August. We're getting a big two-bedroom in a nice quiet historic neighborhood that's close to lots of places we like to go, and we're going to get a puppy-- a Boston Terrier-- and go for walks in the park with it. And everything's going to be fucking GREAT. OKAY?!
