Mentally prepping myself for tomorrow, or today, whatever, Friday. Driving up to Toronto for the start of the Full Flex Tour, FINALLY get to see Skrillex live, missed out like 2 other times when he toured near my city. Also, a nice wonderful outdoor concert too, take in some rays and listen to pounding music. Apparently the sound rig is pumping 250000 watts through the system, reasonable for an outdoor concert I guess AHHHH so excited, been waiting for this for like 2 months now. The 4 hour drive up there will be so worth it.
Work today was fun~ish, set up a stage for a festival in a small-sized town, and the first day (today) there was a talent show for little kids and stuff. Had to listen to One Direction 3 times, and all 3 times it was the same song (What Makes You Beautiful). I've never listened to 1D before, only ever heard of them from fans via Instagram and stuff, so I was like, whatevs. After the talent show the beer tent opens and half the town comes to get sloshed. Except no one was really drunk and no one danced until the last 5 songs, only then did they ask the DJ to keep playing. Like, people, c'mon. Throughout the night though there was this one guy (mentally handicapped) dancing, and damn, he's got moves. Dances way better than I do lol. I'm glad someone enjoyed their night, though it peeves me a bit that other people would just be standing way at the back of the fucking tent and laugh at him while he's having a good time. Or they'd cheer him on but it's the kind of cheering where they're just trying to get him to keep them entertained. Bunch of assholes, really.
Also would like to say this: 16 year old girls, or even younger, shouldn't be allowed to wear these ridiculous clothes where like the shorts are halfway up their thighs and their cheeks are hanging out. You're gonna get raped one day and wonder why. Like, it just worries me that the age group that wears this kind of clothing gets younger and younger. Are the parents really not paying attention to what their kids wear? Obviously the parents are buying the clothes most of the times, like fuck. Cover up your kids. Feel free to let your own ass and tits hang out though, love them cougars
