Sorry. I think the right thing to do is to explain to her why you have to break off ties. It probably won't be pleasant, she'll likely deny everything and call you a traitor, that's what addicts tend to do. But hearing the truth from someone she knows might help begin the process of realization. Getting everything out in the open will be the best course of action for both of you - you won't end up wondering if you should have tried to talk to her. I know this sort of thing is no fun whatsoever. If you don't feel prepared to talk to her then just withdrawing is the next best option. Your primary concern has to be taking care of your own physical and emotional health.
