My CD collection was stolen. The entire collection. All 280 albums. I'm sad.
I'll file a police report, as a formality. They have better things to do than look for the person who stole my CDs. I might make an insurance claim, I dunno. I have no way of proving that I owned the albums.
Luckily, I do have everything backed up on my computer. Unfortunately, I did not rip them at the bitrate I wanted to. They're all at 160 kbps. I had been planning to redo them all at 320, but never got around to it.
It's a bummer, but it isn't the end of the world. I'm just wondering what jokers were wandering my neighborhood looking for stuff to steal. I'd like to introduce them to my fist.

that really sucks. as your attorney, i advise you to buy 2 or 3 cheap spindles of CD-Rs...get on over to solarseek, and start downloading. i've never not found what i was looking for over there. and you already bought the CDs once, so you're totally justified in downloading them.
hope this helps, or at least gives you a chuckle in the time of loss.
