So ... I haven't listened to commercial radio in about 12 years, mostly because of the band Creed. I go with my CDs or the Pod; if the radio is on it's tuned to NPR.

Yesterday, though, I finished up an audiobook and wanted some music so I thought I would give the radio a holler and see what's up. They can't still be playing...

I listen to the college radio around my parts - it's hit or miss, but it's at least usually *interesting* smile

I am trying to decide whether or not to get my other nipple pierced. On the one hand, I appreciate symmetry. On the other hand, I appreciate variety--stimulation feels different on my pierced nipple than it does on my nonpierced nipple. However, stimulation on the pierce nipple is slightly more toe curling than on the nonpierced nipple.

No rush to decide of course, but I...

I took a personality test on OK Cupid and this is what it said wink :

"Well-liked. Well-established. You are The Loverboy. Loverboys thrive in committed, steady relationshipsas opposed to, say, Playboys, who want sex without too much attachment.
Youve had many relationships and nearly all of them have been successful. Youre a nice guy, you know the ropes, and even if you can be a...

Interesting...
I know a few people on OKCupid, but have never brought myself to check it out.
That last sentence is quite the "oh, snap!" moment. lol
strangetreat:
Yeah, which is interesting. I've only been in two relationships. The first lasted 9 years. The last three were a living hell, but I fought tooth and nail to make it work until it became apparent that "making it work" would be worse for me and my children than letting it go.

And then I met the woman who became my wife ... I don't think I am one who is prone to leaving for frivolous reasons. I've lost too many people to treat anyone as expendable. When I feel a friendship or other relationship slipping away, it feels unbearable to me. It really does. I don't think we all fit into types. I think the most outwardly mundane human being defies category and can at any moment transcend expectation.

I am also not quite sure that I am as "popular" as the quiz makes me out to be. LOL.

But, cheesey and flawed as they may be ... I get a kick out of personality tests. Ha!

I just signed up for OK Cupid after my wife did. I haven't used it to contact anyone and no one has contacted me. I am just kind of lurking there for now and checking it out and pondering possibilities.

Today I go to visit good friends! But first, I will bake pies for them. Creamy, delicious pies. A coconut cream and a french silk, may put a nipple of rum in the French silk. May make extra French silk pies and put them in the bathrub so that I may roll around in them when no one is home and truly be the "happy...

Thank you for reading my blog, dears! Valentine, alas I did not make it to 1901 yesterday evening. I was at a strange bachelor party for my cousin in which several drunk men attempted to kill a chicken while another bloke played the flute. There were foreign movies and jam sessions, and the only guy who complained that there were no strippers was the guy who had planned the party in the first place. LOL. I was able to spin fire for the group which was a treat, and they kept asking me to recite quotes from Shakespeare which was strange but of awesome.

Amarena! I'd happily make you a pie! Glad to encounter someone who is somewhat nearby! I am from the South Side of Chicago originally but moved out here 10 years ago for a job. I really enjoyed your blog and will be checking back frequently. love

So.

I like to ask people random and delicious questions. I think little details like, "What's your favorite smell?" reveal more than the person who answers realizes, or perhaps they know the totality of what they are sharing and it's all a plot and maybe that's even better, who knows?

Anyway. I fired this one off to a friend the other day and I think...

My favourite thing about being me:

I am a sexual being entirely by accident.

strangetreat:
Fascinating. Meaning that it comes completely naturally to you? Or in some other respect? I believe that is true for me as well, and only just in the last year or two have I truly started to embrace it.

The Tour Guide's Toast

At the end of the day's designs,
after the reading of the signs,
after the sights and sounds,
while laughter yet abounds,
the guide rose from his chair,
he said to the travellers there,
"As your grateful host,
"I would like to propose a toast" ...

"Past the clockwork pyramid,
through the wireless light,
beside the feline bride--
I drink to...
