Not much going on....

I'm about 11 weeks along now. This pregnancy is 80 million times easier than the last one. We're trying to figure out what we're gonna do for a daycare situation since we can't afford to pay for two kids yet we make too much for assistance. Thank you fucked up America.

In other news, Olivia still kicks ass of course, check...

I suppose it's about time I update biggrin

As I'm sure you could tell from my last couple posts, things got pretty stressful for a couple months there. While we were never hurting financially (thanks to my amazing bookkeeping skills), we were hurting emotionally. I was devastated at losing my dream of being a stay at home Mom. Subby and I had worked very hard to...

thingsprollyaintthatbadrightnow. Usually an objective reassessment of the situation will show you that's the case. biggrin

Stressed out is perfectly understandable. Don't waste energy on those negative feeling, though. You and your family are working hard to make thing better, that's the positive, honest facts. Feel good about that!

We both start work soon.

Found Ollie a daycare.

I'm a bit down in the dumps.

And Ollie is sick.

Ah ditto, I don't mind applying for the jobs but am getting fed up with the lack of a response except for an acknowledgement of the application.

We have a hose pipe ban coming in next week so am mindful of the new shrubs I planted a few weeks ago that I got by chance in a Sale!

Well I applied for a supervisor position at the job I recently left to be a stay at home Mom. We decided it's for the best since we still haven't gotten Subby's unemployment or severance package. We just can't chance having no income. The only thing I'm struggling with is that Ollie will have to go in daycare once Subby finds a job. I just...

My wife and I finally had to bite the bullet and take our little one to daycare. My sister-in-law had been watching her, but she now has a newborn of her own. We ended up choosing a church affiliated center that was close to my mother-in-laws house. We had a good experience previously with my nieces, and they seem to do a pretty good job. I think it is always tougher on the moms, since they form such a tight bond with their children. My wife made me take her to daycare the first day, and little Miss V. did fine. We get a daily report of eating, naps and other important events. They even texted us with pictures of her first couple of days. Check with other parents, or get references, and check out the place before you commit. And if you don't like one place, pull the diaper bag and head someplace else, there are usually a number of good places in a small city. Good luck, and trust your gut.

Well if subby's not working, why not just do this?

What do you miss? How can we fix it? Cause I'd like to. biggrin

Well I havent been able to crochet as much as I'd like thanks to a teething baby. But I did manage to crochet a Batman doll. I like how it turned out and will be creating a Joker next. After that I'll either be moving onto Zombies or Yo Gabba Gabba dolls. Subby is working on an Etsy too, but I'll let him tell you...

Well Subby got laid off. Which does not mesh well with me being a stay at home Mom. I feel so damn bad for my man, he's a hard worker and very loyal, but that's not worth two shits in today's economy. Now we're trying to figure out what to do from here....do we wanna stay down here? do we wanna give WI a try?...

Wow, that sucks! Let me know if we can do something to help. Be sure to consider Columbia in the job searching, too - CoMo is a great town, and very affordable. smile Besides, then you'd be close enough to take lots of pictures!!! biggrin

You and your family have my best wishes. We went through the same event last year. On the bright side, the replacement job was much better than the one lost.
