Whoa, looky at this new layout. I'm going to have to get used to this.

I've been looking at flats over the past week. There's one I could basically move into if I wanted for only $38 a week, but it's not the greatest room or house. I looked at another yesterday which is awesome and I would've said yes to it right then and...

$38 a week? Color me green with envy. Even for subpar digs.

I hear that the people in NZ are mostly bland, though, with only a few interesting ones (such as yourself)! But yes, I would like to visit first and then MAYBE... if I love it.

My Dad and I just had a huge fight and he's basically kicking me out. If the fucking moron actually figures out how to put a password on this computer he'll do that too. So if I'm not around for a while you know why.

I have a full blown cold now. I steadily got worse yesterday until, at my boyfriend's Dad's 50th, I had a horrible headache and was blowing my nose every 5 minutes. I'm even worse today, and I had to go to work tonight after travelling back from Dunedin. The headache returned with a vengance, I didn't know whether I wanted to throw up or pass...

My audition for Rent is tomorrow and I'm sick! It's not a full blown cold yet but I have a sore throat, runny nose and a slight cough. Ugh! I've been taking loads of vitamin C, eating garlic, drinking echinacea tea and trying to sleep and eat better. Anything to help me get better in time. Hopefully I'm not too stuffed up tomorrow.

I want...

Life does that--tosses hurdles in your path at the worst possible moment, or so it seems. Keep you spirits up, and you'll win out. There's always going to be a cold or what ever to mess things up, and you have to get around them to get what you want.

Hals und Bein bruch!

Too cute sometimes. He is totally spoiled.

I have an audition for Rent this coming Saturday! It will be the South Island premiere of the show because no one here has really ever heard of it. Hell, I've never seen it and the movie didn't get released here (but I was naughty and downloaded it, I'm going to watch it tomorrow night).
I'm auditioning for the part of Mimi, if anyone's familiar...

Name change! Not so sure if I'll keep it, I'm going to think on it.

In other news, my life sucks. Yup, it's true. I haven't had a day off work since I came back from Dunedin/Auckland and I'm so tired and strung out. Doesn't help that's it's PMS week either wink If I didn't have a regular supply of chocolate today I was going to...

Being able to change your name whenever you like is one of the perks of SG--no hassle, like in real life. And you get to pick one that suits your mood.

Don't hit me on the head with a frying pan for repeating this platitude, but I bet there are plenty of people who would trade places with you--you're young, pretty and a whole future ahead of you. You'll survive the dull times, and one day you'll be grateful for them.

I survived going to Auckland! Only just ,though. The day we drove to Dunedin (where our flight left from, about a 2 1/2 hour drive) there was flooding on the highway and surrounding towns so the roads were closed. Luckily, the guy we were giving a lift up to Dunedin had a friend living close by so we got to spend the night in a...

My brother is currently trying to bribe me into going to University next year. 50 bucks a week if I go. Sad thing is, I'm thinking about it. I always said I wouldn't go to uni, but i don't know. I need something to do next year other than bumming around in Wellington looking for acting jobs. I don't know if I could hack going...

University is easy, and you'd probably be better off going.

But 50 bucks NZD isn't much of an incentive. That's my smoking habit per week in this place.

Computer still busted?

My laptop is dead frown I think it's the fan because it no longer blows out hot air and makes a funny noise. Bloody thing, just when I'm trying to save up as much money as possible for Auckland, I have to go and shell out money for my computer. I probably won't take it to get fixed until next week though, I'll have to see...

Back before there were personal computers, there were letters and books, and now you've been thrown back into those dark ages. It's amazing how dependent we've become on the glowing screen. When it breaks down, we can get very frustrated! I've worked around computers for over 30 years, so I have some idea of your dilemma. I hope it doesn't cost too much to fix.
mittenz:
That sucks about your laptop, i hope it doesn't cost too much to fix since they are quite pricey to get fixed.

I hate slow computers, I yell at my broadband one because it isnt fast enough. (Im just impatience though.)

My Mum called me tonight to tell me about a modelling competition happening soon here. I'm seriously thinking about entering. Of course, that means I'm going to have to lose 5kgs (11lbs?) and grow some boobs all in just over a month tongue Seriously though, it'll give me a goal to work towards and make me stick to eating properly. I've finally gone stictly vegetarian, but...

Yay for poor-ness wink i'm in the same boat.

Honestly stick with living with your dad (i know most dad's are assholes like mine) but you get free stuff like rent and that. I use my credit card to flat at the moment, which totally sucks. I wouldnt want you to be in the same situation i am in with money. You have your cat ( which i am secretly jealous of because i love them). Keep thinking of the things you are waiting to do like you are and you will get there smile

Good luck with the modeling thing.. I guess your kinda the right height for it then haha not a shortee like me.

Sorry for ranting on but comments were still free the last time I checked kiss

I now have a shiney new HCH piercing smile Well, shiney, bloody and bruised. I kinda freaked out when I saw the bruising just before, but I'm sure I'll live. I'm sitting down and standing up like a pregnant woman! It's really annoying at work when I have to bend down to get cigarette papers and filters for customers.

My brother is down from Auckland for...

Well done. I think the HCH would hurt more than the VCH.

The brusing looks disturbing but does go away.

It's been just over a week since i got mine done and it looks healed already. I can move in any way and it doesnt affect it what so ever.

I do imagine the HCH would be a lot different though.

charlemagne:
I'm out of your league on this one--except for the kitty being a good buddy. Kitties, I almost understand--the other stuff is way too esoteric for a Rube like me.

I think my industrial piercing is migrating frown I'm so sad, and I so do not want to go through the pain of getting it done again (although, if I have to take it out, I'm sure I will get it done again). I've only had it for three months!

Hmph. Well, I'm going to get my HCH tomorrow so I will ask my piercer about...

How does a piercing migrate? Having never had one, I don't know how they behave.

Delete key kitty is lying in front of my monitor, and it's hard to type. He wants to add his two cents worth.
charlemagne:
Now I understand, and it does sound worrisome. Just take care. I'm one of those people who don't like to see other people bleeding or on pain--and I used to work on an ambulance--figure that.

Phew! One of the kitties just did a doo in the litter box!
