Back in Korea....for the past three weeks actually. Just finished an English camp which has been quite fun and quite a lot of work.

It's bloody hot here, but not as bad as it has been the passt two summers. Though, beinng on the tenth floor of a high rise with no AC isn't all that much fun sometimes.

Lesigh...why is it i tend to...

and where did you meet her?

writersareliars:
No AC?! Why is that? I can't survive without mine, and I know it's only going to get worse.

Dude... I met a perfect girl online who was moving to Auckland, just few weeks after I left for Korea. I feel your pain.

I went snowboarding for the first time this week and it was awesome. I'm pretty good on my toeside but i'm fucking retarded trying to go down the hill on my heel side. Also--I'm super duper sore blackeyed

Queenstown has been wonderful. Last night i got to see awesome live music at the winter festival which is now up and running. I also won nearly enough...

glad you are having fun. Almost as glad as I am that I scrolled backa few journals and didn't ask how you were snowboarding in July.

So are you going to remain and Ex-Pat?
writersareliars:
I'm in Cheongju. smile

However, I can see you are (or were - are you back now?) on holiday... in New Zealand, the country I came from, no less. How curious!

In Queenstown, New Zealand at the mo. It's stunningly beautiful here right now. It's hard to imagine snow in June, but it's here and it's everywhere! I think i'm going to try and learn skiing or snowboarding or something like that tomorrow. There's supposed to be a Winter Festival going on right now, but it's been delayed due to snow...in fact a ski hill was...

Well, all, I'm off to New Zealand for about a month. I keep saying i'll keep up to date and everything on here, but honestly, it gets harder and harder the longer i'm away from home. Maybe a month in my favorite place on earth will change that a bit. If anyone still reads this, i hope all's well with yinz. Peace out homies.
obsidian_:
yinz better have fun!

Well, i know i promised pictures, but i've been lazy and tired all the time. Moving into a new apartment and setting things up the way you like and getting all the creature comforts isn't easy...but i'm sure most of you know that. Also, sorry i've been so uncommunicative lately, but i will post more for sure.

So being back....

I'm actually back at the...

I know! A part of me had faith that they'd never leave Pittsburgh, but I was really nervous and a little bummed out anyway, before things finally got settled.

I wasn't really ready to stop being a Penguins fan, you know?

Bonjou mes amis! Au jourdhui, je suis en Toronto. C'est magnifique, mais il fait tres, tres froid. Ok, enough French (and only partly because i'm having trouble thinking of anything else to say wink )

Wow....Canada. Toronto is a mere hour away from Pittsburgh but it feels like it's lightyears.

Today, I went to the CN Tower, had a coffee and maple donut at Tim Hortons,...

I should update this thingamajig more often huh?

Well, Christmas was okay this year. It's usually depressing seeing my basket-case sister, but from what my mom wasa telling me about her, i was expecting the crypt keeper to show up for presents. Instead, a Jerry Springer guest showed up. Thank god for small miracles? That said, seeing my nearly 2 year old niece was AMAZING!...

I Got My Geek On and My Shop On Mhmmm Mhmmm

This weekend was great!

Today, I saw the actual Millenium Falcon! The real one used in the movies! Damn me for not having my camera with me. I also saw one of the actual Star Destroyers and tons of costume and set pieces. There's a Star Wars Art and Science Exhibition in Seoul now...

That Star Wars exhibit sounds all kinds of nifty.

I just had to deal with the presents vs. clothing dilemma myself, I'm flying home tomorrow. I ended up dedicating an entire suitcase to stuff for other people confused

Have a safe flight and a great trip!

Doctors, Oil Heaters and Plasma Screens

So i went to the Doctor's office last Friday to get a number of things checked out. It turns out i have two compressed vertebrate in my back (i think that's the term) and that's why my feet get a little numb when i'm running/working out. I also got some other medication and some tests done. All for $83...

So, ideally, i'd like to meet a cute veggie, geeky girl. We'd have kids with names like James T. Vader or O'Hura Leigha or Jean Luke Chewbacca or Han Solo Spock or "Bones" Bobofet. And they'd be tough enough to own the names and not get beat up for it. Me and this imaginery girl would quote Monty Python to each other while cooking wonderful...

No, I don't really say "bahhhh," unless it's in the vein of gentle mockery. I'm from Oklahoma, y'all.

I must meet the tallness someday. I should also probably see that movie!
