Last night, I decided to have a little bit of fun as I was wrapping up this past quarter's work at SCAD, and decided see if I could take a self portrait with my small studio set up. Now, we all know what selfies are and hell, when I typed in Selfie, it didn't even show up with a red line under it...

@cersei Thank you for the input!

Well well well, a few weeks have past, and damn, what a busy few weeks it has been. I cannot believe that this quarter of Graduate School has gone by so damn fast. However, Thursday is the last day of it the Summer 16 classes, and I am very excited to say that the portfolio of Sam is going SO much better than I had...

So I was asked by one of my professors to come up with five images that I thought best represented the collection that I am working on, the "Living With Sam" collection to start generating publicity with for the collection. I honestly think that that might have been the easiest selection that I have ever had to do. These five images I think are my...

So yesterday was a really nice little day. Had a chance to visit the Vinland Fair, which is the longest running fair in the state of Kansas. I have lived by it my entire life, and my first time going to it was yesterday. Really makes me wish I had gone before, and I cannot wait to next years, which I believe will be 110th...

Well, so I turned in my latest portfolio for review for this week seven of the summer quarter at SCAD, where I am doing my graduate studies in photography, and last night I had a very odd thought...this portfolio is actually bigger than any other collection that I have put together thus far in my life. And I am not just saying image wise...

Finally, after several hours of shooting and editing tonight, I am very happy to be able to present the world with this image. I hope people love it as much as I do.

Yeah...this has been a very busy week for me...filled with soccer photography, judging 4-H photography, and trying to get homework done. Well, this is really the first day that I have had to do homework since Thursday...so it is nice to be able to actually focus on some of it. However, with that being said, I am not going to make this...

This has been a very busy weekend...well the past two days. Tour of Lawrence (Bicycle races), free outdoor concert of Split Lip Ray Field, then the Mexican Fiesta yesterday...a lot of photos and a lot of walking. Last night I was just so tired that when I finally got into bed, my body hurt.

Anyway, here are some photos from this weekend. Let...

I have had too much shit in my life recently. More and more of it is becoming negative, especially as it comes to my girlfriend Sam, the one who I am doing the photos of for my portfolio for y MFA. I am not sure if she is just tried of me always having my camera around or that I am trying to do good...

That's good.                       That seems like a lot of pressure for her. I don't think I could handle that if I were her. No wonder she's having panic attacks. Not saying that it's bad that you are doing your thesis on her. She probably wasn't fully prepared to take it on.

Well, we have been dating for almost two years now...and I have been taking photographs of her since basically day one, but I guess not with this intensity. I did talk to her one more time after I responded to you last night @amberetta just to make sure, and see that she truly didn't mind.  And she once again stated that she didn't...but we will see what the future holds.

Game one of two done yesterday, and game two tomorrow. But before that, some photography judging.

However, here are two links to the same magazine where you can check out photos from yesterday's game that I did.

Jesus...what a week it was last week.. I don't know how I made it through everything. HOWEVER, on that note, I have been listening to a lot more 90s Alternative rock recently, which has also been a little bit of an inspiration to me over all when thinking about how to do some of my images for my MFA thesis. I just would...
