Sitting here on the Samui Island beach in Thailand I watch ships sailing over and past the horizon and other ships sailing into shore. This has always fascinated me since I was a boy. Watching a ship slowly appear or disappear as it sinks lower and lower in the water.

Back on fb! haha FB demanded that I validate my existence by staring my phone cam and make a video of me moving my head. So, I used a yt video of neck exercises, and that worked!

You hacked the security of FB 😎

Wow. Jeff considers that I did something wrong! I have been banned on FB for violating community standards. Well! What to do? I could in fact live without fb. I will leave it a day or two and then consider if I should do the rigmarole of validating myself and begging for forgiveness.

I do have a bunch of distant friends + acquaintances on fb. I would like to stay in casual contact.

Hello, I thought I would post a few messages about my life in Southeast Asia, specifically Thailand. Overall, I gotta say it’s great right at this moment and for the next few months I will be living on the beautiful island of Samui in southern Thailand. This island is a popular tourist destination and right now it’s tourist season, at the high season, and there...

Emma is a Japanese citizen studying in Thailand. She is a part-time model and a busy person juggling a dozen projects simultaneously. I managed to have two shoots with her in 2022. Singapore!

Who has been to Singapore? It is worth a visit. Do not believe the anti-hype, Singapore is not “boring”. There is much to see and do here—however, that is not what I am going to talk about today. Singapore to me represents an enviable success that demonstrates that people can live together peacefully and prosper.

Singapore is one of the great unnoticed success stories...

The food, though, amazing !!

I am jumping back in time to my flight from Perth to Singapore, but here we are. I have been contemplating all day, I find the process of travel preparation tedious even off-putting. Last Friday I was preparing to depart Australia. Details to do, cleaning clothes, pulling together the bric-a-brac of my life, eliminating, downsizing, and reducing baggage weight. Then packing as efficiently as possible....
