Three pints is alot! My inner wisdom says you should split them over the two nights.

Couldn't you just offer him 6k less and see where it takes you? He's going to run into the problems with the next buyer if he doesn't do the work himself anyway.
metatag:
That's bad luck about the house.

I am an owner, but the place I bought has problems with damp as do two other flats. If the place you were after has problems, it can be best to walk away sometimes. I wish I did that with the place I bought...

Task for the month is to register for this years Glastonbury festival. You need to send in photos this year and you have until the 28th to do so. Tickets will go on sale on the 1st of April to those who have registered.

I dont care what hoops they make me jump through, I'm going to Glastonbury this summer. I was missing it last...

Ah, cheers for reminding me. At least this takes the stress of getting in through the crashing phone lines and servers back in 2004...

You know, I dont really think blogging is for me. This is the second time I've tried to keep a blog updated and failed. I am updating my training diary though (not yet public), making at least a short note of how far and slowly I'm running on the days that i do, so maybe thats a start.

Hi Conroy,

I used to do lots of running, but now I am an indoor gym user, weights and aerobics. However, I do spend some time on the treadmill, so I may swing by the runners group.

ps I like you choice of SGs.
conroy:
Hours of study went in those choices smile

There are still way more SGs on the site whose sets I've not looked at yet, I'm just not keeping up. I should follow your example and check out the other peoples faves.

Well of course I've bought a new camera. A Nikon D80 with an 18-135 lens. I'm having lots of fun with it at the moment but still taking awful pictures of course smile

Thanks man!

I see you too are 33.

Does it feel as old as I think it's going to? whatever

Congrats on the new Nikon, I hear great things about that camera. Me...I'm a Canon guy, but a bit Nik-urious wink And again, thanks for the birthday wishes.

Allen Carr died today. 23 years ago he was smoking 100 cigarettes a day, then one day he just stopped. He found it so easy to quit that he decided to dedicate the rest of his life to teaching others how to do the same. Thanks to Allen I am no longer a smoker. If you smoke and you'd rather you didnt, then go pick...

I'm so itching to buy a new camera right now. What I have is a great point and shoot but has no manual mode, which limits quite severely what I can do with it.

So now I need to learn as much as I can about cameras before I finally give in and buy one.

Finally I've given myself an avatar. Not sure if I'm happy with it yet but its sure better than leaving the default in place. Its a photo of my right hand taken by my left, under an led lamp, after I'd been fiddling with the settings in my camera. My hands aren't actually blue.

I've been visiting this site much more frequently in recent weeks...
