Just another bloody rainy day!!!

Had a great weekend with sun and flowering trees.

I managed to get the dog out for a much needed hike and run. She blissfully passed out in the evening without another lift of the chin for the rest of the night... that's a happy dog!!!

I ran in an ultra Saturday and it rained and rained and rained. I missed a cutoff time and was told I could no longer run at mile 28.8. I missed said cutoff by 10 minutes. After a lot of effort and pain I finally managed to secure Pogues tickets for tonight. I can't remember getting this wound up about seeing a band in years. I think it has something to do with skipping a Mescaleros show thinking at the time I'd always get around to seeing Joe Strummer live... oh well. I suppose I'll drink a few tonight.
