Still with the same guy. Not much has changed there. He did a brief stint in the Army then got blown up in training and was eventually medically discharged. I'm so happy to finally be out of Florida! I've been wanting to move to the Pacific Northwest for a very long time. I originally planned for Seattle but a friend convinced me that Portland would be better. I love it here so all is good.

We are still settling in we've only been here about a month now.
biggrin

She was a little balky being woken up after so long. I should have let her warm up longer than I did. She wouldn't stay alive unless the choke was out. But hell she started on the second kick. I love that old Triumph!

WOOHOO!!! I finally got the brace off of my arm!! *happy dance*

I had surgery on my left arm to reattach some tendons that snapped during the move to Washington. That was in late August. Since then I have had either a big plaster cast (2 weeks) or a big Robocop lookiing brace on my arm 24/7.

I don't care if it is raining this...

Excellent! I join you in your Snoopy dance of joy!!!

Glad to hear things are healing nicely.

Thanks for saying such nice things on my blog about my photography. It really means a lot. : ) I don't ride, but I was raised by Gypsy Jokers so I'm very familiar with it all. Of course, the stuff I know is more on the rough stuff. LOL! Glad you are feeling better!

What a great weekend! I went and bought me a humungous new TV. Well not that big I guess but a 42" TV is definitely bigger than anything I have ever owned in the past.
lillithvain:
I have tiny little tv that never gets used. While you watch your huge tv and vegitate, think of me.
Oh, I spelled that wrong but I'm too tired to look it up. Sorry tongue
lankakitten:
Remj and ankiel66, 2 of my favorite people, will be at the Showbox Market (right by Pike's Place) on Election Night.
It's an open event!

I need to get out of the house this weekend! Who's with me? Let's go do something dammit!! I didn't move 3000 miles just to watch TV and play WoW. I could've stayed in Tampa and done that.

I'll try not to get lost this time. biggrin

Oh man...I just about blew diet coke out oy my nose I laughed so hard at this. Geek humor...

I'd definitely come out and play with you if I wasn't so, um, indisposed this weekend. Hold that thought, however, and I promise to travel north for an adventure ASAP. biggrin Please tell me you've been to the EMP at Seattle Center. You of all people would probably dig that a whole lot. It's a little touristy, but such cool stuff. Really!
lankakitten:
My weekend is sadly busy with work.

No lost for you!

I bet the trees in Snoqualmie are even cooler!

dmac:
Welllllll, it looks like I might be grounded for a while. Might be a little laid up. blush I'm thinking it might be January before I can really spend any time up there. I'll be a little sub-par until around Thanksgiving and then it's holiday time....blah blah blah. BUT! By January I'll be good as new and ready for another Seattle adventure. biggrin So are you finding your way around and doing all kinds of cool stuff or are you just workin' really hard? wink

What's your schedule like?

lankakitten:
12 hour days are hell; especially in the wireless industry (or so I've heard).

Do you ever venture into Seattle or do you prefer to hang out on the Eastside?

P.S. I can't live without my cats either.
