Well, just a quick entry before I go out to Halloween party number two this season. I'm off to something in the Columbus, OH area, known as High Ball. This should be fun. I had some fun last night as Donnie Darko, though tonight, I'll be doling out some street justice... Death Wish style.

I'll try to have a photo or two up soon.

A Good Day To Die Hard? On February 14th... haha, I FINALLY have a reason to look forward to that date...

Funny thing happened today, thought I'd share.
So, whilst waiting for a special letter to arrive today, I receive a letter, that has a yellow sheet on the inside with my name and address seen through a shiny window. Anyone who's ever had their taxes done knows exactly what type of letter to which I'm referring. Anyhow, so excitedly, I open it up with many...

Just a rant or something of the nature, but here goes...

Ok, so I've come to a conclusion and you can agree with me or not, but has anyone else noticed that the "counter-culture" has become... well, culture? I mean, seriously, I'm all for girls with tattoos, clearly as I'm even a subscriber here on SuicideGirls but come on, now you have high fashion models...

I agree. There have been times in my life, where I've caught myself saying that "If I just had a tattoo, maybe I'd fit in, because it seems like everyone has them or are aspiring to get them." I don't plan on trying to feed this new culture, though. Its weird living in a culture where everyone except you has tattoos, but its also pretty cool to see the switch around, from the outside. smile
bakuto:
How intriguing. It really is kind of obscure being on the other side, isn't it? I would think that it's pretty crazy that being "straight edge" or any variation of which, is now the new counter-culture. Who'd have thought that NOT drinking, doing drugs, getting tattoos, so on and so forth, would put somebody on the outside?

welcome back!
bakuto:
Thanks. It feels good to be back. Now I can wander around here aimlessly for hours and not feel as though it's wasted time again... haha, who needs work, yea?

Haha, weren't you gone there for a minute as well?

Ok, so last night was pretty fun. I first went to a friend of mine's and was ponging a little. Then, went to Level and finally on to Mosaik for the SuicideGirls party. First and foremost, I was pretty drunk when I got there, so I was most probably acting like an obnoxious ass. Then, talking to my friend earlier today... It was worse that...

Hmm... where to start?
In fact, I suppose that this will be a rather short one, as there isn't really much to say at the moment.

Went to my big "interveiw" and aced it. However, I don't really see much coming out of it, if at all. Which is quite unfortunate, because it'd be extremely nice to have my life back. Que sera, yea?

On...

Happy Leap Day!!!
Considering that it's always forever since I get on here, I figured that it would be somewhat appropriate. I aim to change that, though honestly, one of the reasons I'm usually not on here, is on account that I'll get on... Then before I know it, something like three hours has gone by. Yet oddly, it doesn't feel like time wasted. Being...

how could you get bored with vegas? but im happy your back in ohio! its not to shabby here
bakuto:
Haha, it happens. There's just too much to do there, that it's boring. I hope that makes some kind of sense. I think when I lived there before (Feb07-May08) was the perfect time to be there. Case in point, the Weekly there has a schedule for the clubs, by the day that week, like what the cover's going to be, special events, who's spinning, things of this nature. Anyhow, when I left, it was only a full page, but upon arriving back, it's now four pages long. There's so much, that it's just a hassle to choose, or find your friends when they tell you what club their at. "Where the hell is XS?" Haha, I hope this makes some kind of sense, as sometimes I have a rather erratic thought process. It probably didn't help that it was the first time I was single there, either. I wouldn't wish THAT mess of bs on anyone.

It's good to be back, I suppose... Though nothing's the same. When I first came back in 08, everything I had known growing up was gone and it felt like a totally different town, then when I came back again, the things I enjoyed not but two years ago are gone and I have to go through it again. Where the hell is Bentos... Or Paninis? I did get to see Pierce The Veil though, so that's cool. Admittedly, I am a little weary about starting up photography here again. Apparently, not resembling the Columbus status quo can be a little offputting, but at least I don't have the long rockstar hair anymore. I would think that based on the fact that I'm an artist, people would understand that I don't look like an Abercrombie model... But alas, not so much. Haha, which I suppose is good thing that I found this website. Damn... How verbose am I?

I think I took too many photos at the Story Of The Year/Flyleaf concert last night. Having to go through them one by one is a rather daunting task. Fun concert though...
texy:
interesting is definitely a word to describe it! biggrin
yes he plays the director. a very striking man indeed.. i was wondering
where i remembered him from, because for the first half of the movie
i didnt know it was him either, and then i clicked.
im not sure if i'll ever watch again.. i would love to understand it better
but, im not sure i could handle it. my head started to hurt a little during
some parts, and i nearly turned it off and went to bed, despite how
interesting and crazy it was (i was a little tired and restless).

however, it is art, and David Lynch has 'won' because here
we are discussing his work.

ew, billy ray cyrus puke

flyleaf! awesome. my flatmate will be so jealous.
i bet they'll never come to NZ, haha.
bakuto:
Yea, I'm not sure where you may have remembered him from, though I do know he was in the greatest movie ever, American Psycho, as well as Miami Vice. Hey, win some, lose some, yea? He also co wrote Tropic Thunder.

Yea, touch to David Lynch. I suppose he did win this one. It's like that song Ironic by Alanis Morrisette. That stuff's not "ironic." It's just really shitty stuff that sometimes happens. However, to write a song titled Ironic, that nobody finds ironic... is in fact itself, ironic. So, he got the last laugh, I guess.

Haha, Billy Ray Cyrus... he actually had the Achy Breaky mullet too... I'd have at least flatten his tires on my way out. AT LEAST.

Flyleaf was actually a fun concert. There were certain things that I wasn't expecting, though I'm not at all upset about it. It appears that since I missed seeing them twice before, that the third time IS the charm. I don't know if they'll ever make it to NZ, though, I do wish you guys the best of luck on that.

Yep, you just know that it's going to be a rough day when the only thing that gets you out of bed is the thought of robbing a bank...
