No worries boyo. I haven't watched it yet either, so if you HAVE seen it already and want to shoot the shit about the game, just let me know via spoiler tags! !

With all the hockey I've been at the past week, and all the other sports (and the fact I am still at half time between the Pies and Richmond.....) I haven't been able to watch it all yet.

I get into all the hype and watch the pregame ceremonies and stuff for this, so I'm trying to find a good time to sit down and watch for 4 hours or so. haha

I'm due for a substatial blog update, but my new gig here is keeping me very busy. I'll make time in the next day or two, I swear.

"There are all kinds of silences and each of them means a different thing. There is the silence that comes with morning in a forest, and this is different from the silence of a sleeping city. There is silence after a rainstorm, and before a rainstorm, and these are not the same. There is the silence of emptiness, the silence of fear, the silence of...

You know what? I will write a blog if I end up going. I'm certain that I wouldn't have if you hadn't suggested doing so. Normally, I wouldn't take time for that kind of notation, but this could be pretty interesting. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm installing Guild Wars 2 while I'm writing this. This game better not blow...

Two weeks ago I had ten dollars to my name. I wasn't writing--or speaking very much. I was very depressed. Then I (Thank God and all his angels) got a job. The pay is only mediocre, but hosting/food running at Typhoon! is income nonetheless. (And I eat for free.) Now, already, I can feel myself crawling back from the depths of my own shadow. Sweet,...

Congratulations. The job fairy sure has been busy lately.

The job fairy is an alcoholic slut that only occasionally gets around to her duties.

Glad she got on the wagon for you. Not just because I got to partake of the spoils.

Dear God,

Please nudge some one, place, institution, or corporation to give me a paying job. I should like eating more than once a day.

Regards,

1. Post paypall info on a web site with a really good reason for people to send money. (Cloning or cold fusion may be a good start; make it look slick and sexy.)

2. Sit back and wait for the money.

3. Tell the corporations to fuck off.

Oh, happy birthday, too. Your luck will really change tomorrow; maybe a week, tops.

I have little or no idea of what day or time it is. I'm going to drink a beer and go to bed. Actually.... Scratch that. I'm going to drink a beer, then will myself to have a meaningful dream that I recall perfectly in the morning--ala my favorite Physics equation. Maybe then I'll feel productive or know how to make myself feel productive.

...and...

I went to a movie with my dad a few days ago, and we spent the entire advertisement/preview portion of the film trying to figure out what day it was. I know today is Saturday because my mother just called to remind me that I'd agreed to take a stack of hats to a craft fair with my grandma today. Craft fair, I know, but who am I to scoff at a form of income?

I'm intent on going to Woodinville to see Jarhead this afternoon. I went to eh car show yesterday instead.

Yes, I'm a bum. I don't update. In fact, even those on my friends list likely don't check this space because I never update. With that said, here's my sole mission for tonight: Serenity.
null:
Saw the midnight showing last night. Seeing it at Loews downtown tonight at 10:20.

Yeah, that's what I figured. We'll touch base later on about Salumi. It'll be good to see you for my birthday.

[Placeholder. I have phone calls to make and return. And, my journal time was just interrupted by a call for cleaning and dinner.]

I'm in Seattle. But, I won't have regular internet access for a few weeks. My roommate and I had the benefit of some good luck and landed a townhouse that became available at the last minute: same price, more character and more space. The downside is that I can't move in until the first week in October. (I'll be staying w/ friends here in Duvall...

I never stopped to think about exactly how much of my stuff a 25" cardboard cube could hold. I bought four, but, having packed for few hours this morning, I'm pretty sure that my life will fit into just one.

I'm officially out of Boston, but my roommate just backed-out of the cross-country drive. So I think I'll drive my car to Jersey and send it to Seattle on the autorail. The downside is that I can no longer visit my friend(s) in the Twin Cities. What did I say last entry? "Roommates... Grr?" Fuck that--it's not effusive enough. Fuck roommates.

The moving truck arrives...

Listen to Velocity. You can make the drive. 9 days for that distance is only about 6 hours a day, with a healthy dose of Velocity in the middle.

See? I'm smart. Listen to me.

Roommates.... Grr.
velocity:
Exactly why I have none.

I stopped in to see Zack today to make an appointment for a touch-up, and he asked if yours healed well. He wants to make sure you're happy with it, and told me to tell you thanks for coming back. He is a total sweetie pie.
