Borneo tribes.... yeah, no question. There is an intence effort to perserve the evaporating culture in Borneo.

Maylaysia is developing into an inustrialised culture and many of the city people think of the tribal culturally backwards.

Really, most people in Borneo cities don't know anything about the life-styles of their more tribal neighbors or their own ancestors.

For instance. The plugs I wear where carved in Borneo. They're ade of water-buffalo horn, and over the years they've become very brittle, and I needed a new pair. So I asked arround while I was there, looking for native jewlery.

People looked at me like I was a madman. Nobody I spoke to had ever seen anything like that. And this in Borneo, where they used to strech their ears to six inches when they were still in their teens.


As for Indinesian-Borneo, I couldn't really say. I didn't make it to that side of the island. But I'm sure the tribal-peoples are much reduced from the tsunami. I imagin that many of the people are all together gone at this point.

I was there when the tsunami hit.... I tell you.... it was something....

I have 5 cages of rats too...although I couldn't possibly feed them to a snake, they are way to cute! If they where mice it wouldn't be a problem, I could easily kill a few of them cuz they're stupid!

ive been wanting to do suspention for a while and i just never had a chance ... every year i used to go to a BME picnic in baltimore which they did suspention in the back yard of the house we were at .... they had a rig set up and everything .... was very cool and alot of fun .... id love to see pictures whenever u do decide to do it ....
