here's some advice. screw the diploma. like myself and everyone else i know that has one its worthless. besides, you have to get out of that mode of thinking. you will always get a job somewhere and make $. that is unless you really love what your diploma will do for you, cuz i have no idea what ur studying, but trust me, college is a waste of time. last bit o advice, move to pdx where no one cares what job you have, and no one ever grows up!
so i quit my job today, and i am super bummed about it.
but i just couldnt handle the crap my boss was putting me through.
help me out here, give me advise on what i should do..

sounds like a lot of stuff in your life recently. joined sg, first photoset, now quit your job ;-) dont't worry. first of all, you're 20, right? so still lots of time to try things and experiment. even though all prophets of our time say that you basically have to have a PhD and 10 years of industry experience and speak 7 foreign languages at the age of 23. don't worry. if you got put through shit, it's really best to quit in time. and by your own initiative. i went through quite some shit the last few years and it really hit hard on me. you really don't want to become a wreck through your job. so don't worry. it was only today? come on. go for a few beers with your friends. repeat that a couple times over the weekend. go out and enjoy springtime. there's much more to come. it was just a job, and apparently a shitty one.
having said that, there may be times when one has to bite through and stand some shit. some bad things happen in every job, and its part of life to be able to put up with it. but you'd only have to start worrying about that if you quit three jobs in a row each after a few weeks, something like that. until then, relax. you don't have to function like a machine at all times and whatever your boss puts you up to.
btw, could you live for some time off doing photosets for SG, like one every week? ;-)
