Clear blue skies here the last few days. I can see the snow dusted moutains from the skytrain if it's clear. It's been really nice. I forgot the sun actually existed....so many days with grey skies and rain.

I think the lack of sunshine is starting to get to me. Being from the prairies I'm used to it being cold, but still sunny. The temperature here has been around 8 degrees celsius everyday. But I would take rain over snow any day!

I had my second day yesterday, my feet really fucking hurt. I bought new clothes... yay! 1 pair of jeans, 2 tank tops and a short green knit sweater ( for over the tanks ), and a necklace.
Today is my only day off this week. I am going to find a pair of flat shoes suitable for work and get my new jeans hemmed....

I had my first day @ le chateau today. Everything went well. My feet hurt...I'm not used to standing all day, but they are now in a vibrating foot spa. ahhhh

since you're a professional esthetican and all i have a question for you. when i began school in october we were told to keep up a proper skin care routine a la cleanse tone and moisturize. i've been doing all 3 ever since i learnt about it but my skin is icky and i have a feeling it might be due to the toner i use. can you reccomend a good quality toner (and maybe a cleanser and moisturizer too?) ?
I think I'm getting a head cold. I'm gonna make some rosehip tea, take some echinacea and go to bed. Goodnight.

Your absolutly right about saskatoon, give 500 years or some and it will be just like Vancouver, accept maybe not as many asian and east indian people...or who knows maybe it will have that many. But give Vancouver another 500 years and well...ugh...Im gona stop talkin now!
