Do it girl! It took my 5 years and I don't have the papers back yet but it's almost a few weeks away and I will be free again. Honestly I didn't think it would affect me since it's been so long but it kinda did. It came out of the blue and surprised me. I was sad. Cicadas are freaky creatures. There's the sound and they're just big enough to creep you out when they come in for a bombing run on your face. I can honestly say I am only a fan from a safe distance.
