Well, its nice to know that you've been there too...(not really, because I dont wish those types of emotions on anyone) but when I feel that way its so easy to feel like I'm the only one in the world feeling that way. Which makes me feel crappy considering how many other people in this world are suffering constantly from things I will never have to suffer through, it just makes me feel like a spoiled brat. I can't decide whether to buy a 360, wii, or something else. I found out that I'm going to Las Vegas in April, my company is sending me and my staff there for performing well over the last year. I'm staying at the Monte Carlo, I was wondering if you know of any cool clubs that dont just play friggin Hip Hop all night long? I'm used to going to small clubs that play 80's, new wave, goth, industrial, and synthpop. If you could lend me some advice, I'd be grateful!! And if you do know of any places like that, maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea for you and your bf to meet us there and party!!! Just an idea. Talk to you later!

I am in Atlanta now.
Another thing about moving south that gets you is the quality of the light. Shade is a big deadl. Direct sun doesn't rock your world in the same way Upstate. Your tolerance for cold will freak people out for about two years. Then your body will have changed enough that 55 is cold to you. You can still take the cold better than the locals, but you know it is cold.
Been to several conferences in vegas. Gotta say, not that big of a fan. Unless you gamble, which I don't do, or cheat on your spouse, which I don't do, not much there. You can get as good entertainement in LA or NYC, and get some museum wonderfulness too.
However, do go to Quark's Bar inside of Star Trek the Experience and order a Warp Core Breach. Sounds geeky and it is, but WHAT a drink.
