I'm actually MUCH happier with shorter hair. Mine was that long (as in your picture) and it just looked stringy, unhealthy, and limp. After getting it cut to my mid-back, I was like WOW, look how pretty it is now. So I cut it shorter and colored it red. Even better. NOW it's the shortest it's ever been, this is the perfect length for me, I can still do pigtails and fun stuff, and coloring it isn't a fucking three hour process. I love my hair now. smile

Damn-- have a little faith, people. I really do appreciate the concern and advice, but everytime you're having a rough time with something do you just throw up your hands and walk away? might not be for you, but in my experiences, I'd rather end it before it kills itself. keep from mucking up the memories and the goodness of what you had. Then again, it's easier said than done. There's also something to be said that love and relationships are not easy. Meaning if you feel like you can/want to go through this shit together and try and work it out, it might just end up even stronger and more beautiful in the end. Fuck, if it was easy to be with the one you want to be, life would be a little too easy. Less painful, but too easy. maybe the time apart thing as suggested by vermicious is a good idea.
