mine bleeds FOREVER. Even if I let the water run clear in the shower (which takes like 15 minutes every single shower). I still can't put clothes on til my hair is dry. As long as its totally dry its doesnt leak. Otherwise, I don't think there is another answer.

I just read a tip about using vinegar to raise the pH level of your hair right after rinsing the dye out. Supposedly, it helps keep it from bleeding/staining. *I'm happy you'll be naked again soon.

Special FX: Don't think it is possible to stop it from bleeding given the nature of semi-permanent dyes, but their number is (321) 952-8074, and would be able to give you the straight dope.

Masumi and Justine: Make sure your hair is dry. Don't be bleeding color all over them!

if you are in a hurry and don't have enough time to let your hair dry before you get dressed, tuck some seran wrap around the collar of your shirt (you know, like they do when you get your hair done in the salon) until it dries smile

Here is what I do, and I don't get ANY Special FX bleeds! After you have bleached your hair and put the color in, take a hair dryer and bake it in! Then take saran wrap and wrap your head up, you want to keep in the heat. Now watch a movie, exercise, have a beer...whatev. Let it sit in the hair, then blow dry it again. Now you are ready to wash it out! Let me know if it works for ya. miao!!
