Aww, honey, I hope it gets better soon. If it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend just took a reaction to her antibiotics and now her left arm is swollen up. I think the lesson here is really don't trust parrots or doctors.

best thing i can think of is try and drain the finger and soke it in antiseptic stuff and keep it wrapped

As a professional recipient of bird bites, I would say:
1) Go back to the doctor and tell him that the meds he gave you is making you sick. He/she will probably give you new meds
2) For now, abrade the area and apply triple antibiotic ointment to the wound.
3) If you see streaking going up your arm, leading away from the wound, go to the emergency room!

Yeah. Listen to honubandit. Infections like that are nothing to screw around with. People used to die all the time from shaving cuts that got infected. Considering how aggressive this sounds you need to make sure you take ALL your antibiotics too.

ergh!!! if its full of puss then it needs to be drained or go to the hospital if ur really worried. hope it gets better soon!!!
